Bill,
I'm 95% sure it would work for #6. The barrel of the lug rests in a V to accommodate different diameter lugs and the plunger travel should stroke far enough down. Basically, you insert the stripped cable in the lug. Place them upside down in the V (the flat end of the ring terminal facing up) and smack it two or three times with a 3lb. hammer. You're probably done by now.

I need to crimp 10g, 8g, and 6g lugs; do you have a crimper like the Lincoln that can do these three?

Moot,
The KH538 can crimp those size gauages. I am attaching a photo where we did a test crimping a #8 lug with a 10 gauge copper wire.

Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bang and crimp Pretty easy to use, you kinda have to hold both sides and then hit the pin to crimp. It works! I usually have to hit it around three times with a good swing. July 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Capable and well made You can permanently affix this one. I like that the spring provides tension to the lug. Works well. July 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Low Cost, Sturdy, Works Well! I used this to crimp terminal ends to several 2AWG battery cables. For several, I used this tool in a bench vice. For a couple others, I used a hammer and struck the top of the tool. The tool dealt with the punishment well, and made a nice clean, sturdy crimp. No complaints! This isn't a tool I will use often, but I imagine it will provide many years of on-and-off use. February 19, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by If you love your fingers.... This tool is practical and simple to use; it looks cheap (being made in China), but does what you want it to do. I like the way it holds the lug so you don't have to worry about it moving when you wind up to hammer away. October 29, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Does the job This was a site to store purchase. The crimper arrived in a timly manner and in good condition. This rugged tool performs well and will probably last a long time. I should have purchased one sooner. August 26, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to use and works well. I recently bought a Lincoln Welding cable crimping tool from Home Depot. It's a simple tool to use and it enabled me to easily crimp lugs onto 1/0 battery cable for my 2.5 ton Army truck. The resulting cables were able to handle the 1,700 cold cranking amps at 24 volts my batteries can deliver. An inexpensive tool that works great! October 4, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good tool great tool for the price, with shipping home depot was the best price i found August 27, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fab tool. If you don't want to spend $400 bucks on a crimping tool, get this one. April 30, 2013
