Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good match It is a good match for my 180 feeder. Easy to install , easy to use. June 2, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to weld. I learned how to weld with it in 2 times. Practising about 1 hour at a time. Never have-had weld with MIG welders, but do have over 30years expirience with stick-welding. It was very easy to set all settings and cables. The only problem weld-gun is too heavy, but I was able to weld with left hand too. Anyway I've got it for easy bicycles fabrication as a hobby. Picture with sezors show my weld. The place in betwing sezors is weld without argon. Just made dummy expiriment. So sure 100% Argon needed February 2, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Spool Brake Had problems with the spool wire coming off the spool and winding around the spool shaft, Had to make a spool brake which cured the problem February 28, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Product as described. Well satisfied. Easily installed and easy to use. My aluminum welding isn't so great but it's not the fault of the spool gun. December 17, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Price was a little high for what you get but it worked as it said it would not the highest quality but ok May 1, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lincoln 100SG This is a great gun for the money it hooked right up to my 180hd it welds good on thick an thin metal November 11, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good setup The product is good. Only complaints I have is that the wire spool will unwind even with the spring adding tension, so I added a washer to the side screw to put more tension on. Maybe this was corrected by it's predecessor. The other complaint is that the directions aren't very clear, or clearly illustrated. You have to actually put some thought into what you are doing. Luckily it's hard to mess up because the plugs only match certain plugs. I like it though, and would buy it again. Oh an shipping is faster than the Home Depot estimated time. It's factory direct from Lincoln in Ohio, shipped to my door. July 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 100SG Spool Gun worked very well I'm an electrician by trade and have some welding background with steel but a recent project at work required aluminum welding. I had never done this before but purchased the spool gun and did a little research on line for tips on aluminum welding then proceeded to do the project. The spool gun worked great and I was able to weld 1/2" aluminum plate together with no issues at all. I've included a few pics of the welds I did. One of these shows the side that had to be smooth so I used a grinder but it shows the welds are solid. Since I don't know how to downsize my pics I guess I won't post the. Sorry. March 4, 2014
