CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 123 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dependable Product I bought the Linksys E1200 N300 Wireless Router after we had satellite internet installed. After noting it was the model unit my sister-in-law had I decided to purchase one. The setup was simple and I really like the "guest" feature that you can use to allow / limit those who can use my wifi. It has been trouble free for the past 5 months and has a pretty fair range in our home as I can access the internet from any room in our 3 story house. I would recommend this product for anyone to install in their home. August 13, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Sounds good in the write up Was having trouble with my other router, it was eating up all the speed from my source, so that made this one sound good. It doesn't do that with this one, however, the range isn't there, and when I am in range, with my tablet, one move in any direction, and it loses signal, and if I move any closer, I might as well be at my PC, which isn't what I was after, rather disappointed to say the least, I realize it has to move the signal almost 50 ft, but that really shouldn't be a problem, I have a range extender between, and that helps some, but not what I expected. drtrcr July 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Router For Our Purpose Bought this router for our summer home in Florida, as a replacement for a competing brand. The choice was made for price, size and features. It has exceeded expectations in all regards.Although this residence is one level, there are ample metal interference possibilities. This model has no external antennas, yet the signal strength in all our normal locations, including outside is full strength at all times. Speed is constant using several computers plus two tablets. Setup took minutes, including custom settings that I prefer. We had minimal shelf space available and this flat design worked perfectly. All around for the price paid, performance and features I have no hesitation giving it a high 5 all around. (¯`·._.·ns¢ävË·._.·´¯)® July 28, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by does the job I bought this a few months ago because I changed satellite internet and my old Linksys would not work with it. It was very easy to set up with the included disk but the documentation/instruction were a little hard to follow. Initial setup was fine and easy but a little more difficult with wifi. I made the easy install key and had a little trouble with the install of the wifi computer. Later I couldn't get another computer to install by wifi. I went back to the original computer where the Linksys connect program was and found out the computer using windows xp had to have sp3 installed. After installing it and using the easy install key it works fine. On the downside, every once in a while it seems to stop working but pushing the rest or cutting the power corrects the problem. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good except for a quirk My wireless router works great most of the time but it does have one annoying quirk. It stops working about once a week. When that happens I have to unplug the power for 15 to 30 seconds. Then it works fine. In addition there was a problem I got the router set up. There was a problem with it and my printer/copier. I had to have an IT guy come in and find the problem and correct it. August 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works well, easy to set up My WiFi signal was being hijacked by a neighbor's more powerful router and often I could not get into my WiFi. As my router was old, I upgraded for both increased power and security. I let my 10 y/o granddaughter set it up (for the experience - I could have easily done it myself). My router lives on top of a bookcase room on one end of lower level and I have no difficulty with reception at the opposite corner, room upstairs. Sometimes it even extends to deck on far end of house. I am pleased. July 28, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 300N Router I purchased this router to replace another manufactures that had hailed in service after only two years of 24x7 use. The 300N has for the most part been a great router. However for unknown reasons about every 90 days I need to do a power ouf/on reboot of the router. The indication that things are not going as they should is the total loss of Internet service from my cable modem. There doesn't seem to be any indication of why the router will need to have a power reset, it just stops responding both on the wire and wireless side. A power down reset cures it every time. If I had any one complaint it would be the lack of any way to connect external antenna's. But that's not a big enough problem to force me to upgrade to a more expensive device that offers external antenna connections. Other than the about once every 90 days requiring a reset , it's been ultra reliable, no problems with the equipment at all. August 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Basic, don't have to think about it, it just works My router just sits over there and does what it is supposed to do. It was a breeze to set up and hasn't given me a moment of trouble since I purchased it 7 months ago. This is the second Linksys router I have had. The first one worked for me for 15 or more years. They still make that model, but I like this one better. I can't really say much about the range, I only make use of it in my house, possibly the yard. I could drive around with my smart phone and test it out, LOL! but I'm lazy. July 28, 2015
