Answer:
It has a hole on the end that accepts extension poles. If you have a broom that has the broom head screw off, then you could use the pole w/ this brush.

Answer:
Yes, the Linzer 5" Flat Stain Block Brush has a threaded socket in its base, which will accept a standard roller extension pole or similar device. The brush is well made for covering large areas, but it isn't well suited for cutting-in or detail work. However, for its intended use, it is excellent.

5 in. Flat Stain Block Brush is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 125.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from one or two use item This brush is good for staining decks but the bristle gets pretty eaten up after a few hours of use. To be fair, my deck is about 900 sq ft. We purchased 2 brushes and both experienced the same problem. Both of the brush bristles started getting eaten up fast but the biggest issue I have with these brushes are the housings. Initially, the bristles were wearing out but then the housing started separating from the handle. The problem is the nail that holds the housing was falling out making this brush a one or two time use item. For the money, it is more expensive than a regular brush but you can re use the other brushes more than one or two times. The quality could be better but then again, in this throw away society, nothing is made to last.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great brush wished it held together Great brush for spreading Thompson waterseal stain on my 1500 sq ft deck unfortunately I had 2 brushes fail on me. The glue used to anchor the the brush in the metal holder gave way and the whole thing fell apart.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superior Back-Brushing Deck Stain Brush This Back-Brush is the secret to an outstanding deck staining project. To be honest, it would be impossible to stain a deck properly without this tool. The pole screws right into the handle, no more lost handles by having to take the handle off before screwing the pole in. Most retail stores don't have a back-brush and those that do have the wrong type, the wrong size or the wrong price. This is probably the biggest reason, other than the great team at the Stanleyville store, that I keep coming back to Home Depot. I probably purchase 6 to 10 a month. I wish you had it in contractor's bundles? Thanks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bristles fell out I bought this brush for staining my deck. It worked great at holding stain and providing even application. After a day of use the bristles began falling out and i was constantly having to pick them off the deck and out of the stain. After cleaning the brush, chunks of bristles began falling out. At $10 for the brush, I would expecbetter quality. I will be returning this brush at my next visit to Home Depot. For reference I used the brush with Behr all in on deck stain.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from One and Done Brush was a good size for staining deck. Brush construction is poor. Bristles began to come out immediately. Afterwards, I attempted to clean the brush and the bristles came out in clumps and then fell completely out of the ferrule. Straight to the garbage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best brush out there I stain a lot of decks and this is the only brush that I use. It is rare that you reuse a deck brush. The quality is great. The price is half of what you find elsewhere.you use it and throw it away. It is wider than most brushes and gives a great finish .

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Handle fell off Do not use the handle with an extension pole. The handle fell off quite quickly when I used an extension pole. I then had to use the brush without a handle at all which was a poor experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice wide brush Really nice wide brush for back brushing stain. Covers a lot of ground fast. Lots of bristles, well made. Good product for the cost.
