Answer:
It will work fine with it, but as stated in my review this brush started falling apart the 2nd time I used it and cleaned it. I think it is junk.

One customer review said he added a long broom handle to the brush. How do you do this?

Answer:
It has a hole on the end that accepts extension poles. If you have a broom that has the broom head screw off, then you could use the pole w/ this brush.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product I had a one-year old 32'x16' cedar deck that needed its first staining (I let it age for a year) and was researching the best way to stain it. The general internet consensus was that regardless of the application method, such as spraying, I would still need to brush in the stain so I started to look at brushes and found this one at HD, great price and held up well to the double coat that I put on the deck and the brush is still in great condition. I did dip it directly into the 1 gallon stain can and it was a tight fit that flared out some of the side bristles but this could have been easily avoided if I wasn't so lazy and poured the stain into a larger container. I also purchased a very inexpensive 2'-5' adjustable painter's extension pole that screwed into the brush handle so I could paint standing up instead down on my knees and that was worth its weight in gold June 28, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Started falling apart after 2nd use! This brush was working fine for me, but the 2nd time I used it the nails holding the brush onto the handle had started falling out, and when I went to clean it after my 2nd use bristles were coming out all over my hand as I rinsed it. Not just a few but a lot of bristles came out. I returned this and got a Wooster stain brush. August 12, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by First time purchase Applied stain easily with good coverage. Only good for one time use. Did not clean up good as per instructions and could not use for second application. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great brush-great value Very happy with the quality!! Long brisels made the job easy and apply well. Supper nice that it could hook onto a pole just purchased s bigger can for the paint. Very happy with this product!! July 26, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Handle fell off Do not use the handle with an extension pole. The handle fell off quite quickly when I used an extension pole. I then had to use the brush without a handle at all which was a poor experience. August 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice wide brush Really nice wide brush for back brushing stain. Covers a lot of ground fast. Lots of bristles, well made. Good product for the cost. July 26, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great for about 3 hours It was really awesome at first (for about 3 hours). Then it began to fall apart and the bristles would get stuck in the stain and to our deck. The length of time the brush lasted was not worth the price. But when it was fresh out of the package I loved how it handled. July 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good product It seems the nice wide brush made stain go into the boards better than the roller. Color & wood grain looked better than area that was rolled. July 19, 2016
