It works, and seems to have good coverage on a textured wall, but come the next morning, i see missing spots in the trenches within the textured wall where I knew i had covered the paint with. I am not sure if its a paint adhesion thing, but i am almost sure that the nap had something to do with it in terms of becoming less functional depth-wise within a couple of soaks.

This is a great roller. The coverage was even and provided a a solid color to paint my accent wall! I love how it turned out!

I'm not a seasoned veteran, nor some sort of guru when it comes to painting, but I've made my living day-in and day-out in residential interior painting for nearly two years now and I've experimented with many products on the market. In most instances on a job, Purdy White Dove 1/2in. naps are my roller cover of choice. However, I just recently did some painting at my own residence and was looking to find quality while also saving a few bucks. I've heard that these are most comparable to the White Dove rollers, but are slightly easier on the wallet. Okay then, I said, and I picked up the three pack.
Right off the bat, I was impressed. The roll was smooth and even, there was absolutely no shedding of fibers, and the nap seemed to carry a generous amount of paint. However, the troubles began after my 5th or 6th wall. I noticed the nap showing signs of matting--decreased paint spread, and I was dipping into the pan more often. Were these completely awful? Not at all. My walls looked beautiful afterwards and I was pleased with how comfortably these covers rolled. The only issue was that these matted up noticeably faster than the Purdy White Doves.
Basically, if you're doing a smaller job (perhaps just one room), I'd recommend these. You'll save a buck or so in comparison to the White Doves; however, if you're doing a bigger job (think living room and hallway combination), shell out the little extra for the White Doves.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by tiredhomeowner good quality but overpriced
This is a good product however it is overpriced, especially if you are painting the whole house a few different colors, it takes numerous days to do the painting and because of that we have used probably about $100 worth of rollers alone. Since the paint is so expensive there should be a price cut on the rollers!
