Product Overview

The Liquid Fence 1 gal. Concentrate Armadillo Repellant can be used on lawns, landscaped garden areas and flower beds. The formula covers up to 5,000 sq. ft., protecting your lawn or garden from persistent armadillos year-round. It’s long lasting... Our repellent is formulated to coat grubs, insects, mole crickets, earthworms and small invertebrates, the main sources of food for armadillos. This creates a very undesirable meal, forcing these destructive nuisances to look elsewhere for food. Non-gelling means non-clogging... This product will keep your hose-end or tank sprayer clog-free at temperatures as low as 33° Fahrenheit – much lower than other armadillo repellents that will gel and clog at average well water temperature!

  • Stops the digging
  • Non-gelling, non-clogging
  • Long lasting
  • Easy-to-use
  • Formula covers 5,000 sq. ft. of your lawn to coat grubs, insects, mole crickets, etc., which are the main source of food for armadillos

Is this repellent safe to use around or harmful to domestic pets, i.e. dogs, cats?

This is the second year that our condo complex has been trying to "trap" the oh so distructive armadillo. I am done with that and want to be a bit more aggressive. I don't know if they have looked into any repellent use. But I am afraid that owners domestic animals might be in harms way if a chemical is used... the domestic pets do not dig or eat the grub or earthworms, but they do eat the grass. The armadillo and domestics are currently using the same grassy place. There is no other place for the owners to take their domestics to another area, even temporally.

1 gal. Concentrate Armadillo Repellent is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Repellant that does the job I tried granular products, they did not work. This is a concentrate. I emailed the manufacturer to ask how often I should apply and to my delight they replied within 4 hours. The response was every 2-4 weeks depending on how much it rains. I had multiple Armadillos doing damage to my new flower beds. I also put down Spectricide sold at Home Depot. If you use the repellant and reduce their food source they go away. (Sorry neighbors). The product is easy to mix and spray from a gallon sprayer. I purchased the Round Up 1 gallon pump spray rig sold at Home Depot. It had the best warranty and Home Depot carriers replacement parts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Product We live on a cattle ranch in central Texas and trust me, there's a plethora of armadillos. The house yard is roughly 2 acres with well-cared landscaping and when I find armadillo digs the 20 gauge and spotlight come out. Not anymore. This repellent actually works and trust me, I've wasted money on ALL of them. As long as the directions are followed, with follow-up applications armadillos are history. Last summer - 2014 - was the first ever I did not buy a single new replacement plant. I'm so happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Armadillo gone, what more can you ask for! Great product, just one caution. It contains castor oil and "yellow grease". I accidentally dripped some on pavers, and yes it leaves a mark. I managed to get the stain out with the proprietory product, Fresquito.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from didn't work for me bought 32oz that hooks on hose first, kept plugging so bought another but may not have been enough for proper coverage so tried concentrate with no results. if spilled on concrete it will stain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Armadillos still out there but no new holes, I am a happy about that. I had many areas of my yard where the Armadillos had done significant damage but I put the fence down around my yard using just a old gallon milk jug. I concentrated on the areas close to the house first and moved out farther and farther, that's been about a month ago. I haven't seen any new areas and my grass is growing where there was none. I am very pleased, after reading about them and how difficult it is to get rid of them I didn't have much hope but I had to try something, and I am glad I settled on this product. It works!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Armadillo repelant I followed the instructions very carefully in shaking up the product, mixing it and then spraying it around my yard. The next day I still had armadillos digging in the areas I sprayed. I again mixed more of the repellent, sprayed again. The next morning still fresh signs of the armadillo. I sprayed the third day and the armadillo signs were much less. I am continuing my spraying almost daily and it seems to be working, but that is a lot of work, a lot of spraying and poor results.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The Jury Is Still Out I have only used this for a week but the armadillos are still tearing up my flower beds. I will continue to use and hope for better luck. The only good armadillo is a dead armadillo and this stuff only makes them mad.
