Can you use this product to adhere FRP to a painted wall?

Asked by: FRiPper
The FRP-300 would be of in this instance, but the FRP-310 would not cure well. The best product for this application would be the LN-2000 Fuze-It

Will this product work to glue frp to linoleum

Example: I have looked at the manual and can't figure out what I did wrong.
Asked by: VM9
I only used it to attach a poly wall product to a previously painted wall and to adhere cove to the poly wall. It has worked great! The poly wall isn't such a great product; but, that's for another review.

Can this be used to glue FRP to Treated Plywood? will it need to be braced on walls or will it hold by tack strength?

Asked by: Matt
I found it had great tack strength; but, never having used either poly wall or liquid nails I did use a couple of nails (just in case). I was not completely confident the poly wall would not peel back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love liquid nails. It's a great product and does what it is supposed to do, stick things together. I love liquid nails. It's a great product and does what it is supposed to do, stick things together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great adhesive! I used product as well as another type of FRP adhesive (Henry?) to hang 1/8" decorative tileboard (with a light backing similar to pegboard). Liquid Nails FRP was thicker and heavier but it spread easily using a 1/4" square notch trowel. Adhesion was immediate but provides plenty of time to position and adjust as necessary. I highly recommend this product over other types of FRP panel adhesive. The other brand did not stick as well to drywall/blueboard or plaster/concrete wall. My DIY skill level is novice. I am not particularly handy. I am not in the construction or home improvement business.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I read all the directions and used the recommended trowel to spread on the wall and then hung the FRP and then rolled it out with a tile floor roller as suggested and it worked fantastic. Had all the panels up in no time and it cleaned up great also. Just remember that this is for FRP or NRP panels and not shower surrounds, and this product has to be spread with a trowel for proper adhesion, and then roll with a tile floor roller and the results will be great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wish I hadn't Attempted to use this to glue up a 5-piece shower surround. It worked okay on the flat panels, but never set on the corner pieces. I think the problem may be that if you shift things around too much, the adhesive loses its ability to set. It seems to have worked fine where we didn't move things much. Pulled the corner pieces off the next day (glue still quite wet). Scraped all the glue off and used Liquid Nails Tub Surround and Shower Walls Adhesive (comes in a caulk tube). That worked much better -- should have used it instead.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not very happy with product Glue would not hold to wall. I had to brace to panel in place. Still not sure if will hold the tile board in place. I worked hours on this wall only to have the glue fall short and ruin the project. I may have to start all over with new dry wall. Another few days lost. I should have gone real tile.
