Answer:
The only liquid nails we have for this situation is LN-202 which is made for ceramics and you would have to scuff the area up first before applying the product.

Answer:
Hello Nat,
This would not be the best product to use for your garage door threshold. A better option would be to use Liquid Nails Heavy Duty (link below).

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not good enough Adhesive did not stick to the surround or the wall. Followed the directions, even put the surround against the wall and removed it for 3 minutes. Did not work. Bought the competitors adhesive and worked like a charm. June 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very pleased! We used this to install a surround kit which called for a product safe to use with foam board or plastics (polystyrene). After researching options we chose this. I have absolutely no complaints. The grab was excellent, and the product was very workable. After putting a large bead on the wall we spread the adhesive with a 1/4" bead v-notch trowel. We also vented the product by pulling the panel off for 1-3 minutes after initial application. Although the odor was noticeable, it was not overwhelming by any means. I would definitely use this product again when this spec is needed. October 12, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by terrible adhesion The cream colored product, currently available locally at ACE hardware, does not adhere well to plastic shower walls. The brown product, presumably newer, with the "heat and steam resistant" subtitle added, has terrific adhesion but comes out of the tube occasionally ( I used six tubes) with dry clumps of product. I had to remove two shower surround walls and replace them (a not very difficult endeavor) as they were not bonded well. September 2, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked Great ! I had a so called "PRO" install my new shower. After a few days I noticed the shower wall was separating from the wall. I tried another brand of adhesive and no luck. After using this Surrond and Shower Wall Adhesive my problem was solved. Highly recomend this product. November 7, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Worked as advertised Worked as advertised. Fairly easy to spread and has held up to this point. October 21, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works Great! Material easy to use and works great. Used in our shower at the lake to glue plastic water proof material with out the need of screws or nails. November 18, 2011
