My renovated bathroom has marble wainscoting on the bottom half of the wall where I need to install the new vanity. Can I use this to fasten the new vanity to the marble wainscoting?
Asked by: Shawnna
Yes you could and it would hold exceptionally well. But I would hate to be the person that is going to have to remove the vanity. I would recommend a fastener that is available at your local HD. It is called a Tapcon and is in the hardware section. It is designed for concrete/ brick/ stone. Measure how thick the vanity is where you would be fastening through, then add the thickness of the marble wainscoting. If there is a stud you could also get the Tapcon into I think one screw would be enough to secure the vanity. Two wold be better. But Fuze it would definitely fasten the vanity to the marble pretty much forever. Also have some mineral spirits handy in case the Fuze it gets on the marble. But please go to your local HD & ask an associate about using Tapcons, you won't be sorry. Best of luck with your project

Can Fuse be used to adhere ceramic tiles to Hardie backer

They are small 1 1/2 inch tiles
Asked by: don
It would probably work but why not just do it the right way? It would be faster, easier and give better results if you used mortar.

Color when dry?

Does it dry to clear? white? grey? I want to use it to make glass garden totems.
Asked by: fauve
The color when set is a light gray. I don't know if other colors are available. I don't know if paint will adhere to it. I may give that a try. It worked well on vinyl siding but here I used it it was not visable.

The Liquid Nails Fuse was used to glue my tennis shoes back together after original glue failed. Used Fuse to fill holes in construction wood and attach the sand paper like strips on concrete stairs to prevent falls. Fuse is sticky and hard to spread but it really grabs wood , concrete, and rubber sheets together. A good product that holds but still flexes .

This was the 1st time I used this adhesive, and did so based on the claims it made. VERY DISAPOINTED For tough jobs, such as with warped wood, this product even with clamping and after 24 hrs, did not hold. I even had multiple clamps on the broken wood fire door I was repairing to press down the exterior 5/8" wood panels, but when I removed the clamps the wood sprung back up some, breaking any adhesive bond that may have existed. I returned this and told the clerk the above reason. I will use the regular Liquid Nails on a tough project the next time, even if it takes more time to cure. It has never failed me.

After much prying we finally removed it, but not without peeling some of the wood away! That's strong adhesive! Well, we won't know how long it will stay, but it sure is strong right now!
