I need to bond a small strip of aluminum trim as a baseboard to glossy porcelain tile. Will this work? If not is there a better product? Thanks!
Asked by: RI
It probably would but I would recommend an all purpose glue. My concern about using this product is not that it would not bond but the thickness of the bond might not be attractive. This adhesive goes om and dries with a bead the is fairly thick. You may want to use a glue that bonds with less thickness.

After much prying we finally removed it, but not without peeling some of the wood away! That's strong adhesive! Well, we won't know how long it will stay, but it sure is strong right now!

The Liquid Nails Fuse was used to glue my tennis shoes back together after original glue failed. Used Fuse to fill holes in construction wood and attach the sand paper like strips on concrete stairs to prevent falls. Fuse is sticky and hard to spread but it really grabs wood , concrete, and rubber sheets together. A good product that holds but still flexes .

We installed 1/2 inch thick 12 X 24 marble slabs for a bathroom countertop. The problem we encountered was how to attach the bullnose half round marble pieces to the front edge of the counter. Fuze It works! We applied, attached, held it in place for a few minutes, then secured with blue painter's tape. Next morning all bullnose was in place and securely attached. Everything else we had tried was not strong enough to handle the weight of marble. I highly recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best adhesives I have used. I have a 4 year old grandson who could break an anvil so when it came time to put up something to keep the outside air from coming in our chimney and keep my grandson out of the fireplace ( which we have never used and it has no flue ), I knew it would have to be tough and have an outstanding hold power. I used this Liquid Nails Fuse and a piece of wonderboard and I put the fireplace screen against the wonderboard as an added barrier. I attached almost all poinys using the Liquid Nails Fuse and the only place I used two anchor bolts my grandson ripped out and I reinstalled with the Liquid Nails Fuse shot inside the holes of my anchor bolts and I even ran a bead along the bottom of the screen frame and secured it to the concrete and even with him kicking it every day it has not shown any signs of cracking or coming loose at any of the points I put the product.

I have been using this glue for several years now and I really swear by it. It sets up quick but not too quick. Once it's set it holds well. In fact, it holds bit better that other brands I have used. That is why I use it and strongly recommend it. My only reason for giving it a 4 star rating and not 5, is the nozzle on the tube. It allows glue to set up and it is not easy to clear with a wire or even a screw or nail. I have even tried to drill it out. The think unscrews from the tube so you can get at it from both ends but you cannot get it clear enough to lay down a proper bead. So, most of the time I end up using the remainder of the glue without the nozzle or just losing it. The problem is really a tribute to holding power of the glue. But could the manufacture provide an extra nozzles with the tube or engineer a better nozzle and cleaning method?
