Answer:
Hello Pups,
Gently press with your 8 fingers along on the front edge of the light cover up by where it meets the metal frame. There is a little bead that fits into a channel there. This will dis-engage the light cover to allow you to access the bulb.
Thank you for your inquiry.

Answer:
Thank you for your email. You will need to rotate the florescent bulb counter clockwise to release it from the lamp sockets. Once released, you can pull it downward out of the lamp sockets.

Answer:
Hardwire. The Depot has others that are plug in that might be an easier choice for plug in use.

I understand that in a full bath a damp resistant light is required. Does the U/L certification on this unit indicate that it is?

Answer:
Updating my own question. I found the manufacturers website and product page. It appears to be listed ok for damp environments. Therefore, it should be ok for use in a bath with a shower.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great closet light These worked out perfectly in a new closet redo. We needed a covered light with a pull chain and it worked out just right. Nice and bright too... Thx Home Depot for low pricing too! July 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works fine, right size This a pretty simple little apparatus. Easy to install - since it has a pull chain, no separate light switch is needed. Just run the wires and connect. I like that it has a thin profile, as the storage room where we installed it has a low ceiling and this fixture is out of the way because of its thin profile. May 21, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by It's okay Nothing great about this product. It does the job, but I wasn't happy with the fluorescent look. I took it back and got an LED fixture. I like that one much better. January 20, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fit the bill exactly as I wanted Easy to assemble, and easy to install. Only wish it came with a pigtail. December 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Needed these to bring closet lighting up to village code Reasonably priced necessity for the sale of our house. September 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great choice for closets! Though I did have a professional install, I think I could have done it. I had them installed in the closets in my parent's home which had exposed bulb lighting which is out of code. They are very bright and safer that the previous fixtures and look good too. I chose the pull-chain model as I didn't want to install light switches outside the closet (another expense I didn;t need.) I originally bought globe type lights but thought they hung too low and didn't give off enough light. These work well. August 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasantly Surprised! The supplied instructions and wire nuts made for a quick and easy installation. Provides much more light than I expected, which is a good thing. The styling easy adapts to any decor. Need to purchase a few more of these, as they are a great deal! December 21, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Shinning Light! Will use in large closet. This unit provides plenty of light and can be wired into a wall switch. December 10, 2014
