Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by nellie Much brighter than espected
Installed over kitchen sink, had 4 foot florescent light but it broke and couldn't find a fixture for 1 florescent bulb. This is much brighter than the florescent (about twice a bright) would have gone with a 3 foot length had I known. The reason for lower rate on quality and value was during installation, noticed the light strip is non-replaceable so when it burns out you have to buy a whole new fixture. I don't like having to keep drilling holes into my custom cabinets each time a light fixture (including under cabinet) or paper towel holder breaks.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CG Excellent Product. The light is bright. Using the power cord to the power source the light becomes very easy to use and locate.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jake Works great, after you fix it.
Bought 2 of these lights and the ballast was backwards on both. It seems like a small thing, but with the ground wire fixed to the case, hot and neutral should be facing the same direction, but they are not. Its an easy fix, one nut, spin it around and reinstall the nut. These lights are very bright and illuminate my work area quite well. The light temperature is on the blue side, but that doesn't bother me.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Botanist Excellent Replacement for Fluorescent Lights
Bought two of these to replace fluorescent lights in a large closet. These are a vast improvement over the old lights in that they are brighter, quiet, and light up almost instantly.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ITGeekPartTimeHandyman This light was very easy to install and works well. It has lit the are that I had a fluorescent light in before that I could not keep working. An added benefit of this light is it has a much lower profile than the fluorescent light I replaced. Nice and bright. I plan to replace my other fluorescent light with these over the next year.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Targa Decent light, poor mounting
This light gets a 3-star rating from me for poor engineering design. The mounting holes are spaced 23-3/4 inches apart, which means you will not be able to mount them to the ceiling joists. They should be either 16" or 32" apart, so you can screw right into a joist. Plan on purchasing some molly screws for mounting. Why do none of the other reviews mention this? Paid reviewers? It definitely doesn't deserve a 5-star rating. Also, the way the cover clips on to the housing is a bit flimsy. It barely holds on. I had one fall off on me. The "bumps" where it clips together should stick out farther. They do, however, give off plenty of light. I was previously using a 2-bulb incandescent fixture with 2 60w bulbs, and these are brighter.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by tyme2par4 Overall, I like this light, but it had 1 major flaw. For some reason, the ground wire is quite short. If you use the back or right side knockout, your incoming ground wire will need to be about a foot longer than the hot and neutral. For some reason they thought it was a good idea for the ground to be placed on the left side, and the power wires to be situated to the right of center.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WSlope Easy Install, Huge Savings
Perfect light. Better than the double-bulb T8 4' fixtures I replaced. NEVER will I waste $3-5 per replacement tube bulb again!!! I used to go through so many tubes buying a 10-pack each time.. NEVER AGAIN thanks to LED!!!
I have two tips on install:
1) Easier handling/mounting: use two rubber bands, one on each end to hold the lamp next to housing. Remove the bands once you are done with mounting screws/wires, then just snap the lamp into place.
2) Use a 1/2"-1" washer with the mounting screws. Probably overkill, but I also used my own beefier 1" pan head screws to mount these.
