Answer:
The total Watts for a light divided by the line voltage of 120 volts provides the amps for any fixture. A light with 2 60 Watt bulbs will have 120 Watts and at 120 volts that is a 1 amp of current draw.
The Lithonia 14 inch lamp uses 16 Watts at 120v or 0.13 amps. That is 13% of what the tungsten lamps require for about the same amount of light.

Answer:
To calculate what the ampere is, you divide the number of watts by voltage. This specs on the fixture says it's 24 watts.
24 watts divided by 120 volts = .2 amps
2/10th's of an amp is hardly anything in comparison to other forms of lighting with an output comparable to two 75 watt bulbs (150 watts), which would be 1.25 amps.

If you are asking to confirm inside your electrical box, a standard 15amp. This answer will vary depending on the amount of fixtures you want to put on that circuit. One or two no problem. Anything more than that I would suggestion an electrician confirm as their may be more things on that circuit

I haven't installed a dimmer, but the box label says it is. The instructions state "this fixture is designed to operated with most standard Triac Based (Forward Phase-Control or Leading Edge Dimmer and is not compatible with 0-10v dimming systems". I don't really know what type of dimmers they're talking about but at least you can search the net to find out what they mean.

Hi keoki,
As long as this fixture is properly installed and you sealed where it meets the ceiling with silicone caulking, you shouldn't have any problems with it in a bathroom with a shower.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 86 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Simple, clean, bright, and well made This is the perfect closet/utlility light fixture for me. The light puts out a great deal of light and the light color temp is great for seeing colors as they actually would appear outside. It was a huge improvement over the fluorescent light fixture that was there previously. With the constant on/off cycling that is typical for a closet, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs just take a beating and quit prematurely. LEDs have no issues with cycling so I suspect the light will outlast the home. My only gripe would be the nearly imperceptible flicker/vibration of the light. This is a very minor issue and most people probably won't even notice but if you're sensitive to that sort of thing then perhaps this is not the light for you. My entire house is nearly 100% LED-based and none have exhibited this flickering effect so I don't think it is an artifact of all LED lighting. March 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by surprised at the brightness Replaced a two-bulb Circline fixture that had the ballast burn out twice in 6 years. I was surprised that the LED fixture was brighter and whiter than the fluorescent. Happy with the purchase. June 28, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Light I put this light in a utility room, replacing a standard 3 ft fluorescent light. Wow, what a difference. This thing puts out some serious light. I bought another one to replace a fluorescent light in a walk in closet. Plan on replacing another fluorescent light in the garage and adding 2 extra lights in the garage. June 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Brighter than I thought, Instant On, Installs Fast, No Bulbs Took me 10 minutes to install this after I had taken out the other light. At first I told me wife, "This is too bright." I realized it only had 1600 lumens, but I'm telling you, you'll be surprised at how this can light up a kitchen.... My wife loves it. It's nice to know we'll never have to change a bulb too. Perfect smaller profile, but with a nice aesthetic shape to it still. May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent light - no flicker This is a very impressive light. It is lightweight, very bright, and the white light is very good for a kitchen, which is where I installed it. The diffuser (globe) is plastic, so no danger of it breaking. Someone mentioned flicker. There was no flicker with this unit. There are 144 LEDs mounted on a circuit board. No bulbs to replace. The LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours. At 4 hours per day, that's 34 years! August 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Plenty of light, easy to install The product is very light and easy to install. Direct replacement for old fixture. Very bright for the size. May 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Improvement in kitchen lighting I got this to replace a fluorescent kitchen ceiling light. It comes on instantly with no noise and gives a bright and pleasant light. And it should last longer than the fluorescent lights that preceded it. I wasn't able to get it to hang perfectly straight because of the way the wires go into the electric box, but the one before was similar. But no one has noticed. Overall I'm quite pleased. July 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect replacement for fluorescent fixture Had one of these type in a fluorescent fixture. Had to replace the bulbs 2x per year due to constant cycling. This led fixture replaced the old one perfectly. More light output than the fluorescent bulbs, hopefully the LEDs will last longer. LEDs are not replaceable, but the fixture is so easy to install this should not be an issue. April 4, 2016
