Answer:
it is light sensitive so if there is enough light in the area, it won't come on but if there's not enough light, it will automatically come on. Hence, dusk to dawn will be the time the light will come on when motion is detected.

no dimming or dual-bright.
Turning off the power and back on will activate the always on feature, but just deactivating the sensor so it works like a normal light can not be done.

Customer Reviews

Rated 2.7 out of 5 by 26 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Water in Lense First rain water seeped into the lens and you can't drain them. Very unhappy, light doesn't work now. September 22, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by doesnt last long We are on our second lithonia led lamp which just died again, lasts as long as you can't find the receipt anymore (about 1 year). Light is good, sensor works fine for a year, then konks out. Getting tired of installing a new one each year. June 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very bright and sensitive Security lights with lots of customization options The security flood lights are very easy to install. With no motion sensitivity adjustment it will turn on when it's windy outside. Once you use the simple settings to adjust that sensitivity, You are up and running :-) Another adjustment is for the time you want it be on after it's triggered on. That is a great feature too. Lights are super bright and it illuminates my whole yard, corner-to-corner. It was very easy to install over the previous installation and is very compact. So far it is working excellent and am happy with the results. Great purchase. March 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great LED Security Light So far the tight system is working very well . The wind in the trees and bushes does not set it off. The only complaint I have is that they should include a hanging device to hold the fixture up until the wiring is done and you are ready to screw it in. April 6, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do NOT buy Please trust me on this review. I purchased 1 of these units last yr. Worked fine for 1 yr and now it's led bulbs are so dim, they are unusable. I purchased a brand new unit, same model and guess what? It doesn't work at all. I did notice on the new unit that the casing on the back was cracked, not sure if that was the issue. After reading other reviews, it seems as though these lights are just expensive junk and should not be bought under any circumstances. Now I have to drive back and find a different flood light. It seems like nothing is made well anymore. I'm very disappointed. Booooo to this company. April 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Brighten up your corner of the world Our building needed new outside lighting and these work great! We are the brightest lights in the area now but no more security issues or concerns. October 27, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Failed within 3 months and lenses filled completely with water I loved it right after installing it. Within 3 months though the bulbs only "glowed" and didn't light up. I finally took it down and discovered that one of the lenses was COMPLETELY full of water (like a fish bowl) and the other was about 1/3 full. I was disappointed because after seeing it first installed it seemed great. I read the reviews and realized I should replace with something else so I did. It was a waste of $100 but Home Depot amazingly just took it back as a return (just barely below the 90 day return policy) and I grabbed a different style. Home Depot was great, the light was not. November 12, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by flood light The light is Not as bright as the one I bought at Costco also the price is twice as much. But it works and looks nice. April 21, 2015
