Customer Reviews

2-Lamp Outdoor Bronze Floodlight is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 53.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of Money I wish I had read these reviews before I purchased two of these for the house we remodeled. I liked the bronze color so just went by the look. I thought maybe it was installed incorrectly since both bulbs had burned out in less than 2 months. I'm sure I don't have the receipt or original box, otherwise I would return and never buy this one again

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Can't see, Bulbs burned out. Bulbs burn out all the time, rarely last more than month. Inclement weather guarantees a burned out light. As a security light, with what you spend on bulbs you could hire a live security guard. Absolute Garbage. Did not read the reviews, I would have been forewarned. Store did not have what I was looking for, found this light which should have suited the job.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I regret this purchase I bought 2 of these. They were simple to install. They are certainly nothing fancy to look at. You have to screw off the front to access the bulbs. There is a rubber gasket there that is suppose to keep it tight (from bugs, water, etc) but after a few months they are very loose (like the front is going to fall off). The BIG problem with these is the bulbs! Expensive and burn out frequently! It takes 2 100 watt halogen bulbs with GY8.6 connection. Those are expensive, ranging from $7 to $10 each. I found 75 watt bulbs for $6 at Lowe's but couldn't find anything that would fit at Home Depot. That's not the first time I couldn't find a part to match a product I bought at Home Depot. I have replaced these a number of times in the last year which has so far doubled the cost of the fixture. These also get very hot when they are on... wasting energy. And they are surprisingly dim for 2 100 watt bulbs. And the one that I have used a lot (less than 1 hour a day easily... many days it never gets turned on) has developed a white frost on the inside that now is tinting the glass so it limits the amount of light output. I'm not sure what that is. I wish I had considered the cost and type of bulbs more when making this purchase. If I weren't moving soon, I'd probably just remove and discard these and get different fixtures.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unreliable This dual light setup looked great and was easy to install however it uses 2 incandescent G8 bulbs which uses more energy than CFLs or LEDs. I also noted a high rate if bulb failure..... In a 4 week period I had to replace both bulbs twice which at $7.00 for a 2 pack of Feit Electric G8 bulbs, is an absurd cost. I have since returned the dual light fixture for an LED fixture from Costco. Don't waste your money on this item.
