I am replacing the flood light fixtures on my house. The house was built in the winter of 1991. I purchased this item to replace a 23 year old fixture. I removed the old - cosmetically fully depreciated - flood light fixture and tried to mount this one to the existing electrical box. The mounting screw holes on this floodlight fixture are 3-1/2 inches apart. There were two sets of mounting holes in my existing electrical box and they are 2-3/4 inches and 3-1/4 inches apart. This floodlight fixture will not mount to my existing electrical box. If you have an electrical box with mounting holes 3-1/2 inches apart you are good to go with this item. Anything else and something is going to have to be modified for it to work.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Bmill It is well built and made!
I liked the fact the product came with all things I needed to replaced the lighting. There was also a gasket that was included to keep the water out of the fixture, I purchased 4 of this product and they are working from day one of installation.

First off, make sure you have 10 32 1" or 1.25" machine screws to attach to existing electrical box. Do Not attempt to just mount soffit or undereave vents it is too shallow and you will restrict head adjustments.
Pros: Low cost solution, no fancy motion sensors to burn out in the UV rays. White in color to match your trim
Cons: Poor built quality, the seams show, tabs to hold heads are very light weight. and thumb wing nuts aren't wide enough to manually adjust, gently use pliers to get them snug
When you install, keep your existing junction box, ground from that not the new unit and make sure you have two screws mentioned to mount tight with gasket, put a bead of clear caulking round the gasket

I bought this light to replace a back light to provide more light, it provides a plenty of light as expected, overall a solid product, a little more difficult to position the lights and not as good quality as I expected, easy to install and it does the job.
