No instructions came with this fixture. The only directions were printed on the box. Poor quality product.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Gene Good Garage or Shop Lights
I put these lights up in my garage, I already had them up in my shop. They produce a lot of light, they don't flicker when they come on, and they are pretty cheap to run. They are not pretty, very utilitarian. They were easy to put up and wire. The sheet metal housings are sharp on the edge and I did get cut; so, be careful.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ttexan Good for the price
I was able to install by myself although it would have been easier with someone to hold the other end when mounting to the rafters and installing the reflector. Also, watch out for the sharp edges as this is stamped sheet metal. I would recommend gloves or bandaids.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Daddyo Excellent light for garage
Bought 2 of these for my garage after buying and returning comparable ones from the other big-box store that were total garbage. These are excellent fixtures for the price, giving off plenty of light.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Al very expensive & not ready to install
I do not like it because when I want to install it find out no any electrical wires so I have to buy wires to do the job, not worth it to pay high price for this item that is not ready to use.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by GarageOverhauler Excellent Garage Light for Cost and Performance
Through exhaustive research, I found these lights at Home Depot. The market seems to be currently pushing T5 fluorescent lights but the T8s (this light) have withstood the test of time in parking garages, factories and are still widely used today. I found the move to T5s kind of ironic considering T12s, T8s, and T5s, were all developed in the 40's and 50's... weird.
The cost per light with 2 bulbs was roughly $50/each. Since my needs were 7-10 lights to fully light my garage, this was much more cost effective and easier to install than a 4-light whether they were T5s or T8s. I do recommend 4-bulb lights if you have a large clear and open space to light and desire to minimize the number of lights.
The down shields also do really well to redirect light downward where you need it. It also added a bit of an industrial look which was what I was going for.
I ended up running external conduit to some lights since ceiling outlets were no located in those areas, I didn't want to cut into drywall, and again; I was going for a bit of an industrial look. Ended up turning out great and there are pop out 1/2" plugs at each end of the lights for this option.
Lastly, I wish there were more bracket options or predrilled holes in the lights for flat ceiling surface mounting (approximately 9' ceilings). It took a few tries with the first lights to figure out what would work best for me but I figured it out.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Tom357 Buyer beware
Bought five of these for my shop. Three are scratched on the reflector and one is missing an end cap out of the box. Just finished installing the first one. The frame is so weak I had to repair the damage taking out the knockout caused. I bought these because the reviews I read said they were much better quality than others sold at Home Depot.
