Answer:
Thank you for your email. It depends on what ballast was used in your fixture. You can get the ballast part number off of the ballast label for verification.

2-Light White Fluorescent Low-Profile Light is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 43.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2-light White fluorescent low-profile light Well, we keep this light on throughout the night. Also, we have no window so everytime we enter into this bathroom, we turn this light on. The price is great and the looks of this light looks great with my modern bathroom. The first time I bought this exact light was 4 x years and was able to find the exact light which was great. Yes I certainly would recommend this light. Isabel M.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good until the warranty period Puts out a nice bright white light. Very quiet and instant on. Unfortunately, the bulbs or the fixture itself don't last very long. I had to replace the circle line bulbs just about every year. Well, below the bulbs 4 year life. The fixture itself went kaput not too long after the warranty period (2 years). They don't make them like they use to. This one replaced an old circle line fixture that lasted over 30 years! This may be an Energy Star product, but how does it help the environment if I have to replace it every few years.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lithonia Low Profile Light Fixture I have just installed the third such fixture in our laundry room. It provides good lighting. The previous two units each failed completely after about 28 months of service. In both instances it was the ballast that failed. The two year warranty was of no use. A replacement ballast, if purchased online, would cost (with shipping)about the same as a complete new unit. Purchase this fixture only if you intend to use it for less than 2 1/2 years, or if you don't mind replacing it from time to time. You should also be advised that the mounting pattern has been modified on the new fixture such that the fixture no longer has the 2 3/4" diameter screw spacing typical for a 3" connector box. I had to drill a hole in the base plate to mount the new "design".

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Short life fixture I replaced two short-lived Lights of America with two of these and have to replace ballasts on both in about 18 months. I had one of the replacements go out this past w/e and find I am not quite getting two years use. A real pain! Good thing I'm not hiring the work done. What we spend on fixtures is way more than the electricity usage we save. I believe I'll try compact flourescents bulbs in standard fixtures next and hope those last a bit longer. I strongly recommend not wasting your money and especially the time to mount these!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap light We bought this light for our utility room. It lasted 2 years. Bulbs to expensive to replace. Look for a good quality LED.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Total garbage Ballast lasted a year on two of these. Installed at the same time. Died only 2 months apart. Don't bother.
