Rated 4 out of 5Â by LEDDIM The product is very bright, can be wired multiple ways.
The product is advertised as dimmable. This is true, but requires a high end dimmer--don't think light switch dimmer type. Several products to dim the lights are available, but in the $58 - 99 dollar range. Requires a 4 wire dimmer, two for power 110 (B&W) and two for the 0-10VDV (Violet and Gray). So , straightforward but not easy or cheap. Two intensities can be reached without a dimmer. Full intensity is Violet and Gray unattached (maximum ohm resistance); minimum intensity by connecting the violet and Gray (minimum ohm resistance) wires. Other than that, the light is good, and 14 that I bought all fired right up after being wired.

We own a classic diner and the old fluorescent fixtures wouldn't even hold bulbs anymore. The LED replacement troffers were a no-brainer when it came time to replace the lights in the kitchen. The light is great and the clean appearance is a plus. I liked them so much that I bought the 2 x 2 model for another area of the restaurant. We have enough to think about without having to change bulbs and ballasts. The lack of a glass bulb will also make the local board of health happy. Replacing the 10 lights took me about three hours. They are a great replacement for a standard 2 x 4 troffer, even ones that are 25 years old.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Lucas Compared with Model # 2GTL4 SWL
Only wish the description makes it clear that this light is different from the other one with Model # 2GTL4 SWL, which has a even distribution of LED bulbs across the whole panel. This one with Model # 2GTL4 will appear to have three T8 lamps installed. But, it does give out plenty light!

This fixture appears to be the update to the 4000 lumen model available for $10 less. My local store no longer carries the 4000 lumen model.
We installed it in a basement work room where I had originally intended to install the 4-T8 bulb florescent fixture. I was concerned about customer comments about the quality of the florescent ballasts and I wasn't comfortable with the tight squeeze to insert or remove the bulbs, so we returned it and spent much more to buy this LED fixture. I was concerned that it wouldn't be as bright but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the LEDs were actually as bright as the 4 T8 bulbs. It shouldn't be that way: 4 T8 bulbs should equal about 10,000 lumens ( 4 * 2500/bulb) so that configuration should be twice as bright as the LED fixture, but they appear the same. My store showed the 2 fixtures side by side and it's easy to see that they're the same. Even the Home Depot brightness chart shows both fixtures as "7" on a brightness scale of 0-10. I took a chance and I'm very happy. The diffuser doesn't seem to dim the brightness at all but makes the light less harsh and more pleasant. When you figure that the LED fixture uses less than half the power of the T8s and you eliminate the eventual bulb and ballast replacement, the cost difference doesn't seem as great.
The metal isn't thick and neither is the diffuser, so only time wil tell how good the quality is. Lithonia gives a 5-year warranty compared to 2 years for the T8 version and that might give a clue about how long one fixture will last compared to the other. It seems lighter than the T8 fixture and it installed easily.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by bc456 Great drop-in replacement for fluorescent troffers.
I've installed a total of eight of these to replace failing fluorescent lighting. All have worked without problems. They produce more light and there is no sound or flickering. Work without modification in drop ceilings, and wiring is conventional.
