The light fixtures were easy to install and provided the right look for the kitchen. Switched the bulbs to GU-10 LED.

We were looking for gimbal-mount ceiling lights for a new room. There are lots of these types of fixtures out there, but cost was a significant issue.
These use 50 watt quartz-incandescant reflector lamps so the energy efficiency isn't the greatest, but by the time they wear out I expect suitable replacement LED fixtures will be cost-effective.
Installation was a breeze - we stubbed out 14-2 Romex prior to ceiling drywall installation so it was just a matter of hole-sawing and connecting. Easy-Peasy.
The instructions say use a 3 1/8" hole saw but all we had in the toolbox was a 3 1/4" - tested it on a scrap piece of drywall and there were no problems - the lamp bezel covered the larger hole, so we saved the cost of another hole saw using what we had on hand.
The junction boxes on these fixtures are tiny, so it would be a challenge stuffing all the wires inside if you are using them as a loop-through junction - but I think it could be done.
Lamp aiming is easy (wear leather gloves - the lamps get hot) and covers a 360+ lateral rotation and about 40 degree azimuth.
The lamp gimbal assembly fits tightly into the can and seems like it's 'stuck' when you try to remove it to re-lamp. I hope I remember that when a bulb burns out!
Good value for the dollar! Recommended!

Very easy to install. I was worried about the bad review by the customer in Washington, but after installing I think he just didn't lock the clips in place per the instructions. Very pleased with the product.

I just put these in 3 bedrooms, and have ordered more to do the last room. They are very easy to install. You need cable clamps for each one (which is annoying as I'd think these would be included). They sit up on the ceiling nice and tight, and the clips seem strong enough to hold them firm. BUY A CIRCULAR DRILL BIT! - at first I tried doing the cut outs with a handheld drywall saw. Then I bought a milwaukee hole saw and that made all the difference. I've started these out with the included halogen lamps, and then when they blow I'll replace them with GU10 LEDs which you can get on Amazon for $10 each. I also built drywall boxes, sealed with foil tape, and then Great Stuff'd them to the attic floor - apparently the best way to air seal these units so you can then insulate around and above them.

Good product for the low cost. Quality is proportional to the price. Easy to install with 3 1/8hole saw. Should do the job for foreseeable future.
