I am far from a handyman, but installed 6 of these in my master bedroom. I love them (more importantly, my wife loves them). Dimmable with correct dimmer and very bright at full setting. Classy and way better than the ceiling fan light we depended on for years.

As an architect, I used these in my home because they have they same look and functionality of fixtures used in high-end hospitality and retail projects. I could not be more pleased with the end result. My only complaint is that the wiring box, once wired with flexible conduit, is nearly impossible to fit through the 3-1/8" hole in a retrofit installation. I HIGHLY recommend using Romex if code allows, in which case the installation would be quite easy. Nonetheless, I managed to get these installed and they are absolutely beautiful fixtures. They are dimmable with a compatible C-L type dimmer switch, and they dim down to a very low level, nearly off. A room of 6 of these only uses 24W of power when turned up full blast! And perfect light color temperature!

These lights look fantastic in my kitchen. They provide great lighting and where simple to install. I had no trouble installing even though i'm an amateur.

I bought & installed these LEDs a good month ago. They were cheap, they swivel, they look simple, they're small, they give nice light - I put seven of them on a dimmer: beautiful. They're easy to install in an existing ceiling (I never had done it before, took me half a day to cut, patch, install, another half a day to finish electrical), and they look very nice. Each light uses 3 Watt when at 100%, so together they use less than 1 bedside light. Yeah, these are nice lights. Highly recommended, very happy.

I put 10 of these in my living room and I could not be happier. They are bright for 3" lights and the dimming is great, goes to about 10% flawlessly. I paired these with Lutron dimmers, be sure to get the correct CFL rated ones. Liked these so much I'm buying 10 more to do the bedrooms. The light bulbs are removable to be replaced or swapped for halogen if LED wasn't to your liking. The only complaint I have is that the clips on them could be stronger because if you try to remove the housing without going slowly and pop a clip you will need to solder it back on or buy a new one. Aside from that minor detail and reason for the 4 stars, they are well made and look fantastic.

Garbage! I have 8 of these in my kitchen. At first they were great. But now the overheat feature weakened and it is a regular light show every night. Each one will go off and on. I took every precaution when I installed them, No insulation covering them, I even have an attic fan in the summer so there is constant airflow. They do this even in the winter when it is 10°.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by JohnsonandJohnson Look great, but...
I'm a GC and I've installed similar before without issue, typically they snap right in. This was not my experience with these. I was installing in 1/2" finished plywood over a fireplace. The springs were cheep and the "keeper" that keeps the springs in place would not lock into position very easily. I installed 3 and had difficulty on at least one of the 3 springs on each light. I will go out of my way to avoid these in the future. They do look good, but so do the other offerings that installed faster.

We remodeled our 50's home and started with 5 of these
lights. Liked them so much bought 25 more for the rest of the house. This was replacing all original lights. Most of the lights we replaced showed signs of melting and charring. We are so grateful for our bright home and feel so much safer.
