Recently purchased 2 fixtures and am quite happy with them. They come with a three prong plug and a 5 foot good quality cord plus there is a three prong socket on each unit so that they can be ganged. Also there is a pull/pull on/off switch on each unit. You will have to buy your own tubes for the fixture though. I would have liked a reflective surface inside but it is simply painted grey. I lined the inside with Al foil and that seems to work fine.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by tcc13 Great light
Picked this up a while back to add more lighting to my dark garage. Really made a difference in brightening it up and now am able to work comfortably. Going to pick up another one as a replacement to make it even brighter. Although the chain seems "fragile", it does its job.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by OldStumpy Lots of featurese and lots of light
I have purchased ~30 of these shoplights starting about 4 months ago. (No, my shop isn't that big.) I have a plant tissue culture lab and the tiny plants are grown on illuminated shelves. The shoplights all came completely undamaged. They were very easy to assemble, they fit perfectly in the 48"W x 18"D x 81"H 6-shelf units that I also purchased from Home Depot.
The gray color is great. Much better than the stark white most of them come in.
We used to buy cheap shoplights, but we got what we paid for. They came without power cords or on-off switches and about 1/4 of them had no mounting kits. These units came with all three as well as a wire mesh to protect the bulbs. Saved me a lot of time I used to spend retrofitting. and because these units came with power cords, Wiring the shelf units was a 10 minute job, rather than the 2-days I spent on the old ones. I just attached a Powere strip on a middle shelf and plugged everything in. So far I have been extremely satisfied with these shoplights. I will update this review in a year or two so the review will be much more meaningful

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by HarryX 3rd Lithonia light in 6 months - COMPLETE GARBAGE
This light lasted 47 days before it died. This is the 3rd Lithonia shop light we've tried in 6 months. ALL have given out & quit working. All have required constant fiddling w/ bulbs to restore light.
The fixture itself is flimsy, skews and swings loosly. The fixture's edges are razor sharp - so since the bulbs flicker on & off constantly (usually when you're @ a critical point in work) you can count on cutting your hands trying to get them back on.
The local Home Depot is good abt returns, but doesn't carry any other brands. So basically we've replaced non-working garbage with more non-functional garage. Its a mystery to me why they continue to sell this chinese garbage exclusively. I'd be happy to pay extra for a functional light!
I don't recommend these or any Lithonia lights to anyone who requires clear, dependable lighting.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Transplanted Perfect solution for my workshop.
After way too much research on shop lighting, I settled on this fixture. I had a 12'x16' workshop built and needed to install the lighting. I bought 4 of these units along with a case of Cool White bulbs. I installed the 4 fixtures into 2x4's running alongside the ceiling joists. I just screwed each unit into the 2x4's using 6 screws. Once I installed the bulbs and turned the lights on, I was pleasantly surprised, and relieved. Surprised at just how much light was thrown into my workshop, and relieved that the lighting was more than adequate and that the gray painted reflector did not appear to be an issue, as I was contemplating painting them white prior to hanging them. I'm sure if the reflectors were in fact white, that the light would be brighter, but from what's being thrown into my workshop now, I'm fine with it.
I agree with just about everyone on the quality of the throw in chains. They are really cheap looking and had I needed the chains to support the fixtures, I would have replaced them straightaway. I really love the protective cage. It swings down to change the bulbs and protects the bulbs from being whacked with a piece of wood. I also like the features of having a electronic ballast. The ballast means when you flip the switch, they instantly turn on...And no humming noise is emitted. These fixtures are great, I love them, and they totally fit the needs I've wanted in my workshop...Hands down.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RDTSEWI Outstanding Product!
Purchased a lot of 'junk' lighting products at many DIY stores, finally a very good priced system that seems to be very high quality. Love the added outlet on the side of the light for chaining. Maybe upgrade the pull to chain, but that's it!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by wjs57 Used for Grow Lights
These fixtures are being used as grow lights for starting garden plants indoors in a school setting. They required minimal assembly and all components seem to be of high quality. I like the fact that we can plug one fixture in to the wall and the rest of the lights on the stand can plug into each other for a power source. They also come with chains so we can raise and lower the height based on plant needs. We have had two of these fixtures for over a year and they still operate like new. We now own four light fixtures and love them. Thank you Home Depot as I could not find any other source for this type of lighting that would plug in and be of such great quality for a great price!.
