The Z Series 1-Light 4 ft. High Output T5 Fluorescent Multi-Volt Strip Light from Lithonia Lighting is simply the easiest strip on the market. With contractor-friendly features like a fastener-less channel cover, 3-point row aligner and snap on end plates, the Z Series strip lights are simple and easy to install. Pre-loaded sockets also improve speed of installation while reducing the potential for socket breakage.

  • Energy-efficient T5 fluorescent technology
  • Fastener-less channel cover fits securely while allowing for easy access and quick attachment
  • A 3-point row aligner locks the channel together for straighter, faster row assembly without fasteners

Yes, there is a way. Although strip lights are intended to be hard-wired to a switch within the electrical system, it is possible to hard wire it to a cord that properly travels out one of the conduit connector knockouts.

Yes, there is a way. Although strip lights are intended to be hard-wired to a switch within the electrical system, it is possible to hard wire it to a cord that properly travels out one of the conduit connector knockouts.
Doing this means that you must also provide an in-line switch on the cord or plug it into a switched outlet. I recommend an electrician to ensure that this is done properly.

I have seen that there are different fixtures for the 28 watt and 54 watt bulbs, does this mean that they have different ballasts and you cannot use a different wattage bulb?
