I am doing a remodel in my shower...and wanted to know if these lights are IC rated for insulation? If they are not...what clearances do I need to clear out of my insulation? I will be doing everything from below attic space is not able to be accessed.

Thanks

Some LED's don't dim so well- do these work, assuming you have a proper LED dimming switch?

I ended up putting porcelain tiles on the shower ceiling and the opening measures exactly 4 inches square. I don't want to start messing with cutting the tiles to enlarge the opening.
Thanks.

Answer:
Hi JoeM, you need a hole that is 4 & 1/8 inches. You're so close, try sanding around the hole to increase the size just enough to have the light fit.
The hole should be round. If it's square you can enlarge, however you should fill in the area where there is space around the light.

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice I purchased these lights for my new shower. It came out very nice love the way it looks September 19, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Super easy to install If all the lights I have installed, this one was by far the easiest. As long you already have the wires to the location, and a 4 1/8" hole saw, it will go in with no problem at all. Also, this is surprisingly bright; it is comparable to a 60W incandescent, or a 13W CFL. However, you will need to by some cable connectors/wire clamps for where your electrical comes into the box, as this product does not come with it. This is kind of disappointing as it would have taken them all of 2 seconds to include one with the packaging, but instead made me go back to the hardware store. June 16, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by trim rusts like crazy For a bathroom light you think it would be made from stainless steel or brass. This is made from regular steel and the can and trim started to rust after a couple weeks. February 28, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lights have a great appearance and soft filtered light, yet bright My electrician installed these for me; however, he stated the install was easy. They look beautiful on my new tile ceiling. October 12, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy install Provides excellent light field in shower area and, because of remodeling in the bathroom, was very easy to install. November 15, 2011
