I have only had these LEDs in for a week now. So far, they are running very well. I ran in to some complications not because of the lights, but because electrical wiring is very sensitive. Too many splices and the lights would not power. Once all of the wiring was cleaned up, they powered very well.
I tried a couple different switches and they all worked well.
MIR-600THW-WH worked fine and brought the LEDs to a pretty low level. CTCL-153PDH-WH worked well too. Currently I am using a Lutron dimmer that works with a Savant system. I don't know the model off hand.
It seems the issue a lot of people have with the dimmers is the wiring and the load. If you only have one or two LEDs installed, you will need to stick with the CTCL-153PDH-WH dimmer switch. The ones that have LEDs and lights on them require at least 40W of load to operate properly.
Keep in mind that these are LEDs so you're not going to get as low of a dim as you would with an incandescent bulb. But when properly installed, these look very modern and clean. My home is a restored spanish home and they look great!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MMMG Nice Bright Light
I really like the look of the installed lights... I purchased 8 of these for my large master bath. I wanted to have a light that could withstand a damp atmosphere—there is one in the shower and one over the soaker tub. These work well for that. They are bright, which I like. One disappointment was that the first lights were not well secured \. This may have been an installation issue... I had to fire my first contractor due to poor work during my bathroom renovation. One of the lights fell out and had to be replaced.

This is an affordable spot light with great contemporary styling. The LED has a great color and brightness and consumes next to nothing. We use it with a CL-LED compatible Lutron dimmer switch.

I purchased 6 of these to work with a Lutron Maestro (Model # MIR-600THW-WH). The box specified that this dimmer was not one of the compatible dimmers, but it also said if the dimmer was not listed that it did not imply that it wouldn't work. I was worried that all 6 might not work with the dimmer and also read somewhere that it might work but would also need to be grounded. My wiring is not grounded. When we connected the first light, the light flickered but then as we added on the others, they all worked. Perhaps you will have problems if you are only using one light. By themselves (without a dimmer) they would be very bright for my application, but that will all depend on the space you are lighting and how many cans you are installing. I wanted to review these because I was worried that I might have a problem with them after reading the reviews. Any professional installer should not have a problem with these. One thing to note is that you should use the correct measurements while cutting the holes for installation. The 4 inch drill bit I initially wanted to use was too large. This was not Lithonia's fault. They even include cutting templates in the package. This is a high end product and expensive, but worth the money if you have it to spend.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by DaveG 2 out of 3 ain't bad, but not good enough
Purchased three of these a few weeks ago in my goal of providing more light in a bedroom and converting over to LED technology. They installed easy enough but shortly after installing I noticed a slight hum. Then noticed that the lights would sometimes have a slight flicker. Last night while working in the bedroom, one of the lights dimmed down to about 50% brightness. I'm going to take the light back to the store to see if they will let me swap it out with another light unit. So 2 out of 3 isn't bad but I expected them all to work for the price paid. Using the Lutron Maestro MACL-153 dimmer which has worked perfectly with three other installations I've done in other rooms in my home.

I have been working for about 6 months with Lithonia customer service to address issues with wiring inconsistencies, flickering and buzzing. At first I was confident and happy with their support. Now I am nearing the end of my project - converting my home to LED - and see no improvement. I most recently had to go to 4 stores to get enough product that was wired correctly, only to find that they all buzzed.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by BCK676 Do not purchase these!
I installed 12 of these led can lights and they are terrible. Five have failed and while the warranty procedure and replacement with Livonia was very smooth these lights simply don't work well. Like many other reviews these lights flicker, dim, go out and work terribly with dimmers. I've changed out three different dimmer switches all per lithonias recommendations and these lights are simply terrible and expensive. And no not all 12 are on one switch.
I'm now working with lithonia on replacing them all.
You've been warned.......

Bought 5 of these lights to install over my kitchen island/ peninsula. They were easy to install and looked great... when they were off. When I turned on the lights, 4 out of 5 of them would dim slightly about every 10 or 15 seconds and then re-brighten again creating this flickering candle effect... not what I was looking for. Had to rip them out and return them which was very frustrating. For the price I would expect a lot better then 20% of them to work. These 4 inch IC rated LED can lights are hard to find, but I was able to track down another brand elsewhere that works great. Won't be buying any Lithonia products again.
