When the incandescent fixture broke I decide to go LED. So glad I did! Very bright, relatively easy to install.

A nice kit but has a vivid flicker/strobe effect even without a dimmer. I didn't bother installing it.

These light have good light quality, intensity and distribution. I like deep trim that prevents glare.
Unfortunately these lights buzz and flicker on a dimmer that is listed as compatible on the package (Luthron Diva). I tried few other dimmer including a very expensive electronic low voltage that should be an overkill for an led. With that dimmer flicker stopper, but buzzing still remained.
Giving 1 star since at the end I was not able to use the product and had to return all units back to HD.

I replaced seven 75 watt incandescent flood lights with these 15 watt LED downlights in my kitchen. The new LED downlights were easy to install. These lights were only $34.97 at the store because of the New Jersey Clean Energy Program.
60 watts savings per light X 8 hours/day X 365 days/year X $0.16/kilowatt-hour / 1000 = $28.03 savings in a year.
These new LED downlights will pay for themselves in a little over one year!
Another bonus is that a cold draft was coming through the old lights in the ceiling. These new LED lights completely seal the downlight opening.
These lights are CSA listed on the package and on the light fixture. CSA is equivalent to UL, so that these lights have been tested and are safe to use.
The new LED lights are actually brighter then the old incandescent bulbs, and I can dim them for even more energy savings.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Antonio Excellent Light Output and Quality Construction
This light is well made (aluminum housing) and has plenty of light output. Easily installs in regular 6" ceiling can light.
Caution (this is based on two units I installed)- Use electrical lube for light bulb threads (do not substitute type of lubricant). When trying to screw in the adapter/interconnect, the threads were tight, near galling and would have probably gotten stuck before fully tightened. This is a common problem I encounter with Chinese made products/light bulbs. The Chinese manufacturer's typically do't use brass types previously used in the USA and if you proceed to tighten a scratchy-grinding thread on a light bulb, you will have difficulties removing it at a later date.
I have saved the warranty and receipts because I am skeptical the bulbs/assemblies will last the 5 years stated on the warranty. I hope they do because I am very pleased so far (so far being about 6 weeks.)

Are these lights safe? They don't have a UL Listing anywhere on the packaging or instructions.
