I think it is a regular size base at least in diameter. Two other bulbs incandescent and a cfl were pulled from the Depot shelves at random and both were screwed into this shop light. From what I have read it seems the mogul base is bigger in diameter and probably won't work????? I do not know the difference in length between the 2. As a possibility I thought maybe the bottom of the bulb was not making contact. At this point I would guess I need to check the # on the Depot replacement bulb that is on the store shelf since it may not be correct. I have found the same green colored shop lt. on the Walmart and a Northern Tool web site and neither have bulb replacement info. The Northern Tool site calls the light model L2006 and the bulb has a 29275#.I have not contacted them. A Amazon site says the mogul fits lt.models L17555/56 and 67. So maybe I do need a mogul, but if the base is bigger, which I am not sure of, why did other bulbs off the shelf screw in and work? Thanks for helping Read Less

Answer:
1. Google the number 100679056 and find 10 pages of links,
2. click on the Home Depot link and see that we are currently out of stock for every store in all zip codes that I tried.
3. To help any further I would need more information from the person who actually asked the question

I have some big incandescent light fixtures that use old school mogul base incandescent bulbs. These puppies suck up the electricity and really put out the heat. Can these fluorescent bulbs be swapped into the fixtures the same way the normal medium base fluorescent bulbs can be swapped with incandescent bulbs?

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to purchase Needed to repair a light on a sign for a new business in the small town where I live and work. I live in the Sequoia National Forest in Southern California and I'm over 50 miles away from the nearest Home Depot. The ease of purchase, the prompt delivery eliminated the time and cost of traveling for this fluorescent lamp. I'll will continue to use The Depot to fill my business and home repair needs. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by CFL 65 Watt I got these bulbs (one replacement and two spares) for one that burned out .after replacing the bulb it would not work . Reading the box I noticed the disclaimer stating it would not work in this fixture . I just wish they would make the disclaimer more pronounced ,as it would have saved me a whole lot of driving to return them. Other than that the minor inconvenience of having to return them ,which was soothed by Home Depot's easy return policy. I really have no negative comments to make . May 5, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by this unit is outdated bulb would not light, had to mail order replacement (shipping and handling $7.) only to find out new bulb would not work so electrician stated it was photo sensor. Long story short not worth fixing bought a new LED light. This Fluorescent fixture only lasted 5 years. January 14, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The bulb only lasted 3 days The original bulb lasted for a couple of years (on every night). Unfortunately, because this bulb is not carried in the store any longer, I had to purchase it on-line. The 3rd day it was in use, it went out. I don't blame Home Depot though. However, I need to replace it now and am not sure the procedure for an on-line purchase. My option at the store was to buy a complete new light (fixture with bulb included) for about $35.00 instead of paying the approx. $20.00 for the "Mogul Base" (large base) bulb. August 6, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by question your logic this is a beautiful lighting fixture that you sell in the stores, and I do not understand why you would not carry the replacement bulbs in the same store. We do not have time to order on line so we must go to your competitor and he ends up charging me 30% more than you have it listed fir but UI need it today December 14, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This product was a waste of time and money We have 8 of the Lights of America fixtures that these bulbs are replacements for. Seven of the eight original bulbs are still going after 8 years, one burned out. Ordered this bulb online (only source I could find) to replace it, after waiting 10 days for it to arrive, it proved to be New Defective, would not light in any of the 8 fixtures. Returned it to the store, received a prompt refund. Store was great, product wasn't. September 24, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by This product was incorrectly labeled online The light works fine BUT I ordered this light stating it was 3000kelvin. What I recieved was 4100kelven. The product I recieved was more full-spectrum when I ordered a flowering light bulb. DON'T BUY THIS IF YOU WA NT WHAT IT LISTS! IT was 65 and not 60watt either as listed, glad I wanted a 65 watt but again NOT WHAT I ORDERED! I'm not a satisfied customer ANY MORE. WAS before, not anymore.. April 16, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bulbs don't last I bought a Lights of America fixture at HD with this bulb. The original bulb lasted 10 months. Finally found a replacement bulb and it only lasted 2 months. Found a local lighting specialty store stocked this bulb and another replacement only lasted 3 months. Now starting to look for a new light fixtures since it is a pain to keep getting out the extension ladder to be able to service the light. December 27, 2011
