Will this arm work with an LITHIONA Dust to Dawn 35W LED Dust to Dawn Security light and does mounting hardware come with the arm.
Asked by: Bob
This mounting arm is compatible with most outdoor area lighting fixtures, both LED and non LED. However, since you did not specify a Lithonia model number, it is not possible to say with certainty. The arm comes with a mounting bracket and arm extension as shown in the listing. That is the only hardware supplied with it.

How would I run power from the wall junction box to the arm? Since there is no "face plate" associated with the arm I'm not clear on that. Can't just run bare wires. I get it on the lamp fixture connection, just need help from the junction box connection.
Asked by: DWW
There is going to be an open cavity throughout the mounting arm and the fixture will have a knockout that u can slide your wire through once it's through the arm

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A few issues using OMA arm with OLAW fixture The product I received was a solid extruded tube, not the two-piece product pictured by Home Depot. This is actually a plus for our application. You can see an accurate picture on Lithonia's site. There, you can also find the arm in a color that matches the fixture. It is more expensive. The OLAW fixture has a very sleek and modern appearance, but that suffers when mounted on an unfinished metal arm that seems to belong on a utility pole or barn. Home Depot would do well to offer both arms; one to suit buyers looking for economy, the others going for great appearance. Installation is not terribly difficult for an experienced person but might be a challenge for typical DIYers who are not used to figuring out the necessary steps from two sets of instructions. Another reviewer mentioned a problem with the back of the fixture spreading when the set screws are tightened onto the arm. I thought this would not be an issue with the fixture I received, since there are two big screws that appear to hold the halves together. Wrong. Even when completely tightened, these screws do not prevent spread once the mounting plate is removed; in fact, you can easily create a gap in the housing just by hand. The reason for this is unclear; it seems like these two products were not REALLY designed for each other. Extra application of sealant in this area will be needed to prevent entry of water which couldn't be a good thing. Finally, Lithonia only provides lag screws for attaching the arm's mounting clamp to wood. Many photos by reviewers show attachment to masonry or metal outbuildings using a small piece of (plywood?) as an interface. Again, unsightly, and it will deteriorate more rapidly in weather than the rest of the components. We purchased some shield anchors and drilled the holes in the clamp slightly larger for a secure, permanent install on brick.
