I would only say that we would need to get a replacement bulb to have handy as they are a completely different from the common regular bulbs you find at the stores.

I bought and installed this lamp but the ballast failed shortly after a year in service. I was unable to locate a replacement ballast and ended up purchasing a new, identical lamp. That ballast also failed in a little over a year. In short, don't purchase this lamp unless you are planning to sell your house within the year.

Four different family members had this light. Only one is still in existence and that is because I finally wrote the lighting company and was sent a new expensive bulb and a new failed 5 time ballast. Nobody other than the lighting manufacturer carries parts for this exclusively made fixture. If you don't like somebody buy this light for them.Within a year it will be finished and you have to deal with the company.I went to every lighting dealer within 50 miles of my home when I happened to pass one and went in and was told the same thing: Good luck finding what you need....Don't buy this light.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by DallasBrian Inaccurate Description
The description says that the fixture can be flush or semi-flush mounted, but it did not come with the advertised canopy and stems, so it is flush-mount only. On the Specifications tab, the 18" listed as the assembled height and width is the size of the box it came in. The diameter of the fixture itself is 16". The diameter of the T5 fluorescent tube is 12".
The installation is easy if you already have an electrical box mounted in the ceiling. It might help to have an assistant hold the fixture while you connect the wires.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by zac61 Looks great but the two I bought both had the ballast fail and one light
I bought two of these because I liked the design and price. The t-5 circ light failed in one and found out Home Depot did not carry it anymore. Found one at a local hardware store. Shortly after that the ballast failed and about a year later the ballast failed in the second light. After a few e-mails with Lithonia, their customer service department sent me a standard 'tough luck' e-mail. Both are now in the trash and this review is to release some of my frustration.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Handyman2010 Quality Problem with Ballasts
I purchased 2 of these lights about 2 years ago and they worked for about a year and then the ballast went bad in one of them. I couldn't get an exact replacement in any of the local stores so I ended up buying another complete light. Then about a year later the ballast in the other original pair went bad so I'm faced with buying another complete light. I saw a review from another person with similar problems. The ballasts for these lights are obviously of poor quality.

Looks great! Pretty easy install for one person, considering it has to be installed on the ceiling. The light bulb gives a very white light, referred to as "natural white" (35000K). I't's a little bluer than I would have liked. I prefer a warmer, yellower light. This type of bulb is also made in a "warm white" (30000K) and I will probably replace it. I haven't found this bulb made in a "soft white". Overall, I really like it.
