Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Charlie The dullness of the light was a problem for our needs.
We ended up returning this because the light was not bright enough for our kitchen working area with 8 lights. We expected the led lights to be brighter. The appearance and the quality were fine.

I've been watching LED lighting "mature", main problems have been Color Rendering (do your eggs look green under this light?) and life expectancy: Sure, they say the LEDs are good for eternity but sometimes there are problems - mostly heat-related - that shorten the life substantially.
I decided to give these a try in my new place, track lighting works for the high ceiling and I'm hoping not to ever have to climb a ladder to change lights again. The savings in electricity - these use about 10% of the energy that an incandescent flood would use, and about a third of what a CF lamp would use - and the reduced heating from the lighting - are very attractive.
The color rendering is good but not excellent. I would like to see manufacturers of LED lighting provide CRI numbers ("Color Rendering Index") just as most fluorescent lamps have. I do have some halogen floods over my food prep area for extra task lighting and truer "broadband" color rendering.
We'll see how the electronics hold up in the long term, my only concern is that the closed back of the fixture may trap heat and cause the electronics to cook. Time will tell.
These are dimmable. LEDs do not "go orange" when you dim them, they are the same color of white just not as much. Use a recommended dimmer with a low-end stop. They don't like going below maybe 10% power, the electronics don't know what to do. So the $5 dimmer you've been using for years may need replacing. Oh - and don't mix LED with any other kind of light on the same dimmer, it confuses the heck out of the dimmer and it won't work properly.
OVERALL: These look to be a good product. Super-low energy consumption, lots of light output. Dimmable. They aren't heat lamps, very comfortable to be under a high level of light with these. When you buy a bunch of them they get expensive but I'm looking at it as a long-term investment with a return every day. Meanwhile, I've got a whole box full of assorted traditional light bulbs I don't need any more...

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by pete These LED lights have put a light on things!
The LED lights work really well in my old track lighting system. They were easy to install, actually look better than the lights it came with and they brighten up the whole area. Thanks Home Depot, Pete

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by gk2j This system gves great lighting for my crafting projects!
The lighting gives true color to my paper projects when I could not differentiate the difference in neutral tones before. I have also been able to illuminate my storage units so I don't have to dig as much for the proper color. The shipped items were packed well and arrived on time. The sales staff in the store was extremely helpful. Kudos to all!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by KGinATL Great replacement for an older track system
This worked with my existing kitchen track (10 years old). I bought three to replace one that was broken and so all the new ones would match. I didn't like the 75W Halogen spots in the old fixture. The 8W LED blub included is a much softer and warmer light in comparison, without the heat! The only downside to these is the adjustment is one way up and down only, you cannot adjust it side to side.
