I want to create indirect lighting for a worship space. The budget is very tight. Indirect light creates a nicer atmosphere than direct light.

Customer Reviews

Rated 2.8 out of 5 by 25 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good lights for the money The lights came without any shipping damage. Assembly was pretty straightforward. The metal is flimsy so a bit of handworking was needed to insure a better assembly. One of the lights was built wrong so I had to cut, crimp and shrink-tube some additional wiring so the bulb ends would reach the end of the fixture ( I chose to do this rather than mess with shipping the light back and wait for another). Installing the back shields was a real pain. I ended up using a pair of pliers so I could push and turn with more force then my fingers. All in all, a good light for the money and they provide plenty of light for my 70 foot deep shop. February 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very pleased with product These fixtures were used to rebuild a business sign. They worked perfect for what we needed. We will use these same fixtures on our next rebuild. April 12, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cheap! Does Not last. Bought 30 of these for a retail store, 19 month later I have 3 ballast that are out. THEY ARE CHEAP! Recommend by the person at Home Depot. They were replacing fixtures that were installed and lasted 25 years with only losing 2 ballast in a 25 year period. February 23, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor quality Comes all bent up. Bulbs fall out of fixture because fixture end pieces don't fit right and flip out. January 20, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by JUNK I have been installing strip lights for 30 years and this is the worst light I have ever seen. The other reviews stating how cheap the parts are were absolutely correct, good luck trying to get the lamp holders to stay in, had to use a piece of the cheap cardboard in between the center ones so the lamps would stay in. Don't waste your money or time trying to hang one of these pieces of junk. December 8, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Quality Very cheaply made! End socket holders so poorly made had to shim with cardboard to keep lamps in! Body too thin, so weak it sags in the middle when hung with chain! Not often I give a bad review, but this is junk! January 11, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! Possibly the worst product I have ever purchased at HD. As mentioned in many other reviews this is a "very flimsy" fixture at best. The pre-made stamped pieces that hold the lamp sockets do not stay engaged in the provided slots on the fixture. The sockets themselves (made of plastic) have a memory that allows them to lean to the outside of the fixture which in turn makes the distance between the two ends wider than the length of the bulb. You can bend them in to the right distance and install the bulb, but the memory will allow them to return to their original spacing. The end caps are a serious joke. They do close the end of the fixture, and do allow for terminal ends to be installed, but they are loose fitting, and do nothing to keep the end sockets from spreading. As mentioned in other reviews, the twist clips that hold the reflector to the fixture are hard to install and in my case required the use of pliers to push and turn to get them to engage and hold. I would never recommend these to anyone, home owner or pro alike. September 29, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by cryptic "instructions" Aside from the fact that the metal pieces are very flimsy, the instructions are next-to-nothing. There is no list/description of included parts. Hardly any diagram of where the parts go. I am reasonably mechanically and electrically inclined, and fairly craftsy. But it would strain my brain for hours to figure out how to put this together. And then for all I know there may be missing parts; no way to tell in advance. I am returning it to the store. It might work great once assembled, I don't know. At $60 I don't want to have to spend hours messing with it. Disappointed. April 3, 2015
