I had a dusk to dawn light on my house for 21 years. It finally went. I purchased one of these lights in Oct. of this year. It lasted until February. Took the old one back and did an exchange. As of 7/21/14 it started going out in the middle of the night several times. Definitely not exchanging for another one. Called the company and of course they have no knowledge of the problem. They told me to take it back and get another one. Really??????? I had to pay my electrician twice for this piece of junk to replace. I will be going someplace else to buy a light. Stay away from this product and anything by Aquity Brands. They are as brain dead as their product

This light lasted 3 weeks. Now just flickers. The one it replaced lasted 30 years. Sad that this china junk is so readily available at Home Depot and lowes. Gonna return it and shop online for a better product.

I purchased and installed this light myself. After 2 weeks it failed. Because of a back sprain, I could not get up the ladder to diagnose for several weeks. When I did get to it, I found the igniter/starter was burned out. Replaced with a ST1001 starter for $20 and it works fine. This light has a very cheap HID starter. I do not recommend this product.

this light is VERY POOR. Im on my second one in just three days. First light would only come on at night if I got up on a ladder and removed sensor (dusk/dawn) and then put back on. Unit would turn off fine in the morning. Took down and exchanged for another, same model. Worked one day, now it just comes on as if it is warming up then shuts off. Great light output if you can get it to work. Will be returning it tomorrow and going to Wal-mart, at least that light was half the price and lasted me couple years.

Bought this product in May,2013 and it has already gone belly up! Photo electric eye is working properly. Bulb is still good. Starter is still working properly. Electrician said it would cost about the cost of new light for repair parts plus the labor for installation. NOT much of a value if you ask me. Just over one year for $80.00. Local Electric co. will install, maintain and supply electricity at no cost to me for their security light for around $90.00 a year. I will go that route - THANK YOU! DON'T waste your money on these pieces of JUNK!
