Answer:
M90/O This bulb must have the "O " desigination, this means OPEN fixture design.
The M90/E will not fit into the extra deep socket. The "E" means Enclosed fixture design.
The M90/O will however fit into a type "E" fixture.

Answer:
No. A metal halide fixture contains a ballast and other parts. If you removed all these parts and rewired the fixture just keeping the socket, then it could take standard bulbs. This is NOT RECOMMENDED to be done by a by a novice or an inexperienced person.

You have to use the metal halide bulb in this lamp. I believe that most all of the dusk-to-dawn lights now have the mogul-based receptacle for the MH bulb.

Answer:
You can choose the wattage level for most any of the lamps. It is dependent on the amount of light that you need. As with any boxed item, either read the list of contents or open the box to check on the wattage.

Answer:
You may use a lower wattage bulb; however, the bulb life will be shorter than it would normally be. Aside from it burning out a bit quicker, it is fine to use a 70W Bulb.
Thank you!

Rated 1.6 out of 5 by 43 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by whoopee do light Installed the light 30 feet up on 11/6/15. by 2/16 the light was flickering on and off. By 3/16 I had turned off power. Tried calling the numbers on the paper work for warranty and used email.. Neither worked. finally called home depot and they provided a different number. Called technical support--recommendation was to change the light bulb. I purchased a new Sylvania 100 w metal halide bulb at Lowes. Light now functions and new light is much brighter than original. suspect cheap bulb supplied with original fixture. costs to date--Original light--$85 and lift to get 30 feet up $80. so original install $165. New bulb $30. and lift $80. additional costs of $110. Total cost to date $275. If the new bulb doesn't last--we'll be going to LED--hopefully I'll be able to find an LED with the right base/wattage. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Junk do not buy! I've bought 3 of these lights, NONE of them have lasted longer than a year. If they were 1/3 the price I would expect to have to replace poor quality starters and ballast. But for almost $100 I expect better. April 7, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Produces Excelent illumination, for 2 months, then craps out!! After about 2 months it starts to cycle on/off, every 10 minutes!! To make matters worst, it goes through a capacitor style start-up that causes electrical interference with the radio's in the house. I replaced the first one under warrantee and the second one is doing the same thing. This is the Worst product that I have purchased from home depot ever. February 26, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DO NOT BUY THIS PEICE OF JUNK!!!! I had a similar lamp years ago and it worked perfectly for MANY years without a failure. So I assumed when I bought this one that would serve me just as well. Wish I too would have read the reviews first. This piece of junk worked for about a month before it started going on and off every couple of minutes. I wasted $85.00 and after reading these reviews I'm not gonna waste another dime on this piece of junk. Home Depot got me on this one and I won't forget that, they should know by now that they're selling junk. January 4, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Waste of money Replaced a light that that went bad after 10 years. This one worked for less than two months before it started cycling on and off every 15 minutes all night long January 20, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor quality: They don't last I have replaced this fixture three times going on four in 10 years. It's never the bulb or sensor it just stops working. The bulbs never last very long and half the inventory in the store is returned burnt out blobs that other have swapped for new. 84 for the fixture and 38 for the bulb. This thing is almost a disposable item. Buy commercial from HD or Amazon. These things should last for many years and only need a bulb not very often. I concur with others as why they sell this junk brand. They had sold better in the past. 84 is a fair amount of money and it's dead in 2 years or less! Just went to three stores in MA to get a bulb, Salem NH had a burnt out black bulb on the shelf. I told the clerk. How much you want to bet it's not the bulb again? Problem is this lamp is on a free standing pole that us 20' off the ground. Near impossible to replace the fixture without a bucket truck. The bulb is rated for 15,000 hours, that's at least 4-5 years at 9 hours a day. Not even close. December 31, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not worth the money, fails too often I have had a very similar experience to others who describe problems with the photocell. It is on and off all night long. I have tried multiple things to troubleshoot. I ensured the photocell was pointed in the correct directing. I wish I had read the reviews before I wasted a lot of time on this poorly made product. Home Depot should find another supplier. November 28, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Minus 2 for quality of electrical components. Began going out when only in service for three weeks. Shame on me for not reading these reviews. Home Depot should drop this vendor or at least this item. Warranty reads that manufactor is not liable for the failure of the elec. components and the poor soles that purchased one must chase those mfgs down. Will someone in HD please read these reviews and quit loosing customers over this mis-fit item. November 29, 2015
