Customer Questions & Answers

Does this remove the green mold from side of house?

Looking to purchase something instead of renting a pressure washer to clean the siding of house. Will this work?
Asked by: SamW
This is not a pressure washer but it does provide a strong spray assuming your water pressure is normal. It may work to remove mold if you pre-soak the siding with a quality siding cleaner applied with a gallon sprayer. This nozzle's best application is keeping your vehicles clean and general cleanup for windows , etc.

I purchased this super nozzle from Home depot about 1 month ago, used it once, was happy with it. Can't get it to work now.

Went to used it to hose out the garage, a small piece of grass was lodged in the washer, took the grass out, but now it seems that I can't turn the nozzle to adjust the spray, nothing happens.
Asked by: Loosewheel
It's possible it could be clogged up from small particles.

Mine will not turn off. Is there a fix for this? The nozzle spins and closes, but the water continues to come out.

Asked by: BC
BC: if we're talking about the Little Big Shot Super Nozzle that I just tested, mine worked fine in that respect. I'm guessing that there is some kind of a seat internally. I noticed in the instructions on the package it said to leave it in the open position. I'm guessing that would be to let it drain and dry out. Otherwise I could see the metal deteriorating especially if you have water like we do. Our water tests out at 9.5 to 10 pH, (alkaline), right out of the tap. If you have the receipt and you think it's caused by some thing to do with workmanship or materials and a reasonable period of time I would return it to your local Home Depot. They've never argued with me about a product I wasn't happy with. Hank

Does it come with a warranty?

I purchased this nozzle at Homedepot about 7 month ago and didn't keep the receipt I started using it on March 2016 No more than 7 times and I must say its the best nozzle I ever had I love it , but then The rubber gasket swelled causing the flow adjuster to separate from its base. I can't return it cause I don' have the receipt ... My best advise will be Keep all your receipts!!!
Asked by: APanic
Apanic: You're right about keeping your receipts. That's something I'm not very good about. They have a, "WILL NOT LEAK," statement in bold print on the back of the package but because of something below that I need to ask a couple of questions. 1. Did you turn the nozzle in the full open position after your turned off the water? 2. Did you remove the nozzle from your hose? The manufacturer warns you to do that under Proper Maintenance right below the bold print that says, "WILL NOT LEAK." If it has been connected for the last seven months and exposed to the elements that may have done it, especially if you have water as bad as we do. I would advise you to take it back to your local Home Depot and plead your case to customer service. If they can do anything for you I'm sure they will. Good luck, Hank

Super Nozzle is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 389.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do This For Better Performance & Durability.... 1) Do NOT store this nozzle with it closed (the ball bearings pinching the green stem). ALWAYS store this (anytime when not using) with it fully opened. This will help the green stem to last longer and keep it in proper working condition. 2) use a 3/4 in. threaded brass shut-off coupling/ball valve in combination with the Super Nozzle. This will aid in complete shut off of the water stream while still leaving the nozzle open which helps in following step #1 above. Hope this helps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great nozzle! This little nozzle is as good, or better than the conventional "trigger" squeeze type! I bought 2 of them, I'll probably get 2 more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive bit of hardware, but just a nozzle This thing is very sexy-looking hardware. Heavy brass ferrule, soft silicone liner, three steel balls in a cone to adjust the flow. The shape of the liner is near-perfect for maximum water flow. Pressure of the stream was not impressive on my water system. I wonder if the opening is just too large for my pump. It may spew water with more force on a higher pressure city water supply. (As noted elsewhere, good hose delivery/pressure starts with full size inside piping; mine is all 3/4.) As you screw the end the balls clamp-down the silicone liner. The stream gets small, and also a beautiful triangle shape. It does not blast better this way. When turned way down you get a pinpoint stream at gentle pressure which may be good for micro-watering around small plants. When new, at my house, I could turn down to "off", but the least touch would make it pinpoint-spray again. So it doesn't really turn OFF as many hose nozzles do. True, you should not leave a hose under pressure! But at my house it is safe to turn-off a few minutes to walk to another area without dribbling. I'm glad to have tried it. It is beautiful hardware. It's a fine general nozzle, even if not "super". It says it is made in USA by disabled veterans, and I support that. The price is entirely fair. But I put back my $2 plastic "gun" nozzle back on the hose for regular use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid little nozzle At first I thought this was a part of a larger assembly, with the exposed ball bearings and whatnot. But now having used it, I appreciate the genius behind this minimalist design with few moving parts and great performance. This thing isn't as fancy as wand or trigger based designs, but this is also 1/10th the size and 1/3 the price of those other designs, plus it has no springs that will wear out or plastic that will seize. The machining is high quality and this seems like it will last. We'll see. But for now I love this little thing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from decent option for the price For $9 you get a pretty good range of pressure to mist without having to hold the trigger constantly. I purchased it to clean a driveway and it was strong enough to knock off buildup, but went back to the store to rent a pressure washer to really get things clean. This nozzle will replace the one I had for cleaning my car. The only con for me was after disconnecting the nozzle from the hose, the green malleable plastic part in the middle came out and allowed the ball bearings to fall out. It took me almost 15 minutes to find them in the grass and get them all back together. Depending on the intended use, I would recommend this to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Nozzle Talk about power in a small package. This nozzle is a dynamo. First off its made by disabled veterans in america, it is made to last and take a beating. The simple turn adjustments make it easy to use. It gives you positive control right where you need it. The pin point spray will take the paint off a wooden post that needs painting. Power to spare. I used it to clean gutters and what a cleaning it did. I sprayed debris all over the side of the house it was so powerful it Cleaned the gutters with ease. Then I turned it down a bit and cleaned the side of the house. Now my house is clean and the gutters are cleaned out. IT is a great little nozzle, For the price it cant be beat. Simple operation but powerful results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works like it should This nozzle is brass and, hopefully, should last a long time. It can be turned to allow water to come out in a full force stream for washing off sidewalks, driveways, etc. or it can be turned down to a shower spray which will be fine for my plants. I will get a lot of use out of this without having a bulky nozzle like I had. It turns easily and works like it should.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small and Compact yet very durable Small and compact beats the other styles I have previously ourchased. There aren't as many settings as a fancier gun but the sturdiness of the metal and light weight made it a choice for me. There are enough settings to use the nozzle in many ways without worrying about it freezing up and/ or breaking. Powerful little nozzle for an excellent price!
