Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 The Ladder is GR8, but the constant requests for multiple reviews is questionable
The ladder is exactly as advertised...great product...make sure you need the extra length because it is much heavier than the 17....AS IT SHOULD Be.....

This is my second Little Giant ladder, having bought the first one, a smaller model, in 1986. It is very strong and versatile and continues to perform as it did when new. The new , larger model offers more of the same great features.

On delivery the driver suggested it was a $100 ladder, I said no, try 400.. he looked at me like I was crazy. The M26 isn't light though its made of aluminum and to move it around it sure is nice to have a friends help. I think I bought too much ladder but it does the job excellently. I just need to build my muscles up more :-) I'm sure its the only ladder I'll ever need. I've used the A frame at a height of about 18 ft already and its steady. Surely there are less expensive ladders available that are as well made and perhaps lighter. I recommend that you look for them. Possible the ladder just smaller than this one would work for most homeowners.

It is built like a tank but a little heavy at first.
Once up there you feel like your standing on the stump of an oak tree.
By design makes use of the wasted overlaping length an extension ladder loses.
AND IT'S MADE IN THE USA!!!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by djk500 Well worth the investment
Exceptionally sturdy and heavy-duty. However, this is heavy enough to make it necessary for you to still have an A-frame folding step ladder as well as an extension ladder for various home repair jobs. The ladder in my review is definitely NOT a do-everything all-in-one ladder.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by sgtstop Changed my mind after borrowing one...
OK, I'll admit that I'm one of the "nay-sayers" that has been converted by this ladder! I needed something other than the 6' step ladder I had, and had to swallow my pride and borrow the Little Giant from my dad. (After about a year of teasing him about spending the money that he did, this was NOT easy!!!!)
Let's just say that the Little Giant ladder system changed my mind about it after using it to do some siding and fascia repairs on my home!
I will admit that I'm one of those guys that ignore EVERY safety warning about the top steps on most ladders, but will tell you that my 280 pound self felt REALLY safe on the ladder folded to a single "A" frame while sitting on top straddling the sides to do the peak of the roof. No wobbles, or sways were involved, and that made the wife rather happy to see that I wasn't going to fall and break my skull open!
Yeah, it's a bit stout on the weight, but it makes up for that simply because you don't need to buy an extension ladder AND another type to do your gutters or around the house projects.
Now that I have one for myself, the only fear I have is that my wife will concoct more projects for me to do!!!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Recie Great Ladder!
My husband and I purchased this ladder to paint our 20 ft. entryway. We also purchased the aluminum step and the stabelizer bar. I would highly recommend both. I did most of the painting and felt very secure standing on the aluminum step 20 ft in the air. The ladder was pretty easy to use and did everything the advertisement says it would do. My only caution is that it is very heavy and hard to change positions and extend. One cannot do that alone unless he/she is VERY strong. We had a couple finger pinches and minor problems but overall are very satisfied. It is worth the money and we would both recommend it. It stores in our condo outdoor closet and that is a major plus!

I have wanted this ladder ever since I first heard of it. The cost always made me turn and walk away. I finally decided to buck up and get it. This ladder has saved me money and time on my small remodel projects. I used to carry several ladders and step ladders, now most of the time I just need this one. It is not good for every application, but for most jobs around the house and even on the job site this ladder fits the bill.
