Several years ago, I purchased my first Master Cardiology scope. I was a little reluctant at first because of the price. However, when I did an assessment on my patients, the results were profound! Unfortunately, my tubing cracked and I had to revert to an older Littmann which was okay but I missed my Master Cardiology. So, I purchased a new one and as a trade in an I am so happy!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 20RNBSN Great sounds of the Heart and Lungs
As nurse, assessment is imperative. I needed a new stethoscope to really listen to my patient's and after researching I decided to purchase the Master Cardiology. I finally got it today, 8/13/13, and I tested on my mother and myself, and was very happy. The sounds of the heart and lung are very pronounced and clear. In addition, I tried the adaptable piece for ( Peds or smaller individuals) and it was great as well. However, I believe this piece can easily be lost, so either keep attach to the stethoscope ( which I might do) or keep in a safe place. Enjoy

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WarriorMD Best investment i have made for my career
I just received my new Littman Master Cardiology from packaging, and i must say from the very first look when you take it out of its box you can notice the high quality materials of its make.
The comparison of the sound quality against all my preview stethoscopes is considerably H U G E, this Littman Master Cardiology has overcomed all my expectations of this product.
Best investment i have made for my professional life.

I have worked in EMS for nearly 20 years and have owned many LIttman Stethiscopes. This is my second Master Cardiology, the first was lost during rescue efforts at ground zero in 2001. My job is hard on equipment and my Master Cardiology has stood up to every knock, drop, and throw without issue, it has even been run over by an ambulance and I can still hear lung sounds in a moving ambulance while running code 3. Seriously this is a working mans stethiscope.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by RG81 I love this Littman product. It works great and it looks great.
This is my 1st Master Cadiology stethescope so I wasn't sure what to expect, however, I am very happy with its functionality. It's great that I don't have to turn chestpiece to hear high-to-low pitch sounds. I like the look of it and that it came it different color options. The one thing I am annoyed with at times is that the tube can be a bit too short (yes, even at 27)—which is why I did give it a 4 and not 5 stars, otherwise great product!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MedicRT2015 Very Durable and will never own anything else
I bought this stethoscope in 2007 and it is still going strong! I work in EMS and the amount of abuse it has taken is oustanding. You can hear everything you need to hear while driving down the bumpy roads. I still to this day use it on the ambulance and now in RT school. I am sure it will get me through as an RT too and will never buy anything else!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by mikeyt901 Invaluable, essential equipment!
My colleagues think that there Littmann II's are great until they listen to the Master Cardiology. The difference in quality is unbelievable. Heart sounds are so much clearer - from young, healthy medical students to frail elderly patients - this stethoscope makes everything so much easier! A great investment especially as it was a 30th birthday present!

This is an excellent stethoscope for the practitioner working primarily with adults! It is adaptable for pediatrics, but the piece to convert to peds is a hassle to keep track of, so I just don't use it. If anything, it's almost too good; more than once I've heard bowel sounds while assessing lower lung sounds!
