The product was easy to install and easy to program. This replaced a different manufacturer model and is easier to use.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JudyG Year round blessing!
I've needed one of these since my elderly mother moved in with me. My hands were always full and it was difficult to manage what I was carrying, caring for mother and fiddling with keys. This is such a blessing, especially in the cold weather so I can open the door without standing in the cold!
All I did was modify how I opened the door without a doorknob to turn, so I can just push it open!

I bought this lock to replace several iterations of Schlage locks which seem to consistently lock up after about six months use. The directions were very easy to follow and so I had no problems in installing the lock or programing the key codes. The two best features of this lock are the lighted keypad and remote control. I would recommend this lock to anyone wanting to upgrade to the keyless level....

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by ChiefEngineer Consistently loses it's 'door handing' memory.
Easy enough to install and program, instructions hardly necessary for an advanced user. The problem I'm having, and the reason for return and poor reviews, is the thing is constantly losing it's mind as to where the striker bolt location is. To be fair, I have 3 little button pushing minions that love to make the thing beep while the door may no be fully latched. This shouldn't be a problem, according to the manual, I should just have to enter a user code to lock/unlock/place in proper state, which although annoying - would be acceptable. The biggest problem, is in this state, the door may not be locked. However, according to the troubleshooting section, (situation 5, simple troubleshooting) I have to take a battery out and press a button to discharge capacitor, and lock will re-execute it's door handing procedure. It then works absolutely perfect for the next 12 hours, overnight, until the afore mentioned button pushing minions get up and start tinkering with the lock. I'm thinking the handing process should be a switch, and not a program. I'm fairly bummed, this appears to be a well built piece for a low security deadbolt, but what is the use of a device that must be programmed everyday?

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by pjens11 this door lock is a great invention
installed this lock in my mothers home as she has a hard time locking and unlocking the door with a key. now with the push of a button she can do this. she just loves it. the only thing that would make it better is if the stricker plate and bolt had a little play in it.
