I grabbed this super glue in order to reattach a solar panel that broke off of a spot light. I like how this bottle works. You twist the top one way to puncture and open the glue. To dispense it you squeeze the sides of the bottle. That really helps to avoid bonding your fingers. Super glue can be hit or miss depending on what you are trying to glue together but this did the trick for me.

I see many people complaining about the product not working. Don't forget to prepare the area you're applying the glue to. Cut back, or even file the area to assure good contact. And, clean the surface area to be glued with alcohol. I think many will see a big difference in their outcome.

OK, I can't yet actually say how well the glue holds, but the package they have designed is flawless. Simply screw the top down to poke a hole (no more trying to stick nails through plastic and having all the glue run out onto your fingers), then you can precisely control how much glue to squeeze out via the large plastic handles on the sides (no more trying to gently squeeze a tube too small to hold). The gel stays where you put it instead of running all over the place. If it turns out this holds my parts together, then every single flaw supergule ever had is fixed by this product.

There are still great American companies out there. We bought some little tubes of LocTite superglue to fix some broken pottery. LocTite is a brand my husband used in his motorcycle business forever which is why we chose that particular brand of glue. After a few months he went to use the glue and found both unopened tubes had dried to an unusable consistency. I emailed LocTite about it. No I didn't have a receipt. No I don't know where or when I bought it. No I don't know how much it cost. No I don't have the tubes so I can read the number stamped on them. In spite of all that, yesterday a check showed up in the mail to reimburse us for the superglue! With a nice letter which said "We look forward to rekindling your confidence in our products." Way to go LocTite!

I recently purchased the Locktite Super Glue from Home Depot in order to repair a small piece of metal. The package clearly states Metal as the number one application. The glue does not dry in the 30-60 seconds as stated, nor did it dry completely when left over night. I then purchased Crazy Glue and it worked like a charm on the same task. I would not recommend this glue to anyone.

I had broken my flipper and used the liquid super glue to fix it. The runny stuff don't hold a candle to this gel. Because its a gel, it really gives the material something to bond to, and it doesn't clump up. I re-glued the tooth to the plastic flipper and it is holding like new. The bottle is very easy to work with. Just squeeze both sides for the desired application and don't worry about a mess to clean up when done. A $4 bottle of this glue saved me from a $100 dentist visit.
