The adheasive that is used is great, as a urethane base adheasive, it sticks to everything. And that is the end of the good... The cartridges are awful, 8 out of 10 tubes I have ever used ( and I have used alot of them ) split on the sides, spewing glue all over the gun... This should not happen... Stop cheaping out on the cardboard tube Loctite.

This product has impressed me every time I've used it. The bond is very strong. The most impressive experience was bonding PVC wainscoting to glossy ceramic bathroom tile & then gluing plastic base moulding to the wainscoting. I used no clamping or weight on the wainscoting but butted cement blocks against the moulding during drying time. The adhesive is very tacky but can be repositioned easily. Reviewers complain about oozing tubes after releasing their caulking gun; this can be reduced or eliminated by making sure to puncture the inner foil seal multiple times to make as large a hole as possible. This keeps oozing to a minimum by not allowing pressure to build in the tube & it makes the end of the nozzle the choke point. I use little Red Cap caulk savers on partially used tubes & the PL stays fresh for months, longer than most cartridge adhesives & caulks. I reused a tube to eliminate a water leak around a concrete wall basement gas pipe.

The adhesive works great and easy to use. Placing order online for pick up was a breeze thank you Home Depot!

This stuff is feces. Should have stuck with liquid nails. Guess it might work if you follow the instructions and make sure it's clamped or mechanically secured for 24 hours. SERIOUSLY?
Had boards pressing against cove base for 4+ hours to secure, peeled right off. Flour and water mix probably would have worked better.
Don't waste your time, trust me!!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MsDYIer I LOVE this stuff
NOTHING like it! I used this for subfloor. (Worked like a charm.) I've used it to seal air drafts in hidden areas. (Like the time I found mold on an interior/ exterior wall. Sealed the base..no problem) Recently I used it to glue tiny polished river rock to a support beam under a handicapped sink/counter. I have gotten nothing but compliments on the job, the PL color is hidden by the rock. (WARNING you an only do a few rows at a time or things slide off. TAKE YOUR TIME!)
Be sure to wear gloves, have a scrap piece of wood to lay the tube on.. and use a small heating pad to warm the tube . It helps the glue to flow better. HAPPY DESIGNING!
PS. I also used it on the floor where there were subtle changes in grade for a zero-clearance cricketed shower. If female, five foot nothing me can have fun with this..SO CAN YOU!

This stuff is easy to use with any caulk gun, and it WORKS, nothing is un-sticking once it's put up with this! used it to reinforce a self-sticking backsplash...

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Vegaslights Better than liquid nails
I've noticed that this adhesive doesn't harden in the tube, like liquid nails does, so I don't worry about fighting with this every time I re-use the same tube. Once you get it coming out, it keeps coming out for a long time, even after you back up the caulk gun plunger. This stuff is really slick when wet, and hard to get off of your skin. However, it seems less messy than cheaper construction adhesives. It seems very strong when bonding two pieces together, however by itself, it seems to dry brittle. Clamp time is 24 hours. However, I've removed clamps sooner most of the time, without issue. So far, I'm liking this stuff.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lance Did not work for me: slow adhesive
I applied this adhesive to some high quality plywood and continuously had to press it down for more than 30 minutes before it appeared to ok. When I came back about 90 minutes later the thin plywood had peeled away. I removed the 2 pieces of plywood without problem and scraped all the adhesive away. The directions state it is best to apply mechanical pressure for 30 minutes and that in low humidity drying can be longer. In my case clamping the pieces together or screwing them together was not possible. I think since this adhesive is a low odor (probably low voc) that it is slow adhering. Probably will work fine if you can clamp or screw things together. I'll be buying some smelly high voc adhesive to get my job done -- or use the wood glue I forgot I have.
