I was putting wood tread and bull nose on stairs. It's made to be glued, not nailed. The 1st glue let go from the bull nose. Got it all off put on this product and all the bull nose has held perfectly!
Very happy with it's performance!

Glue sticks to everything, use latex gloves if you don't want a sticky mess on your hands. The glue continues to come out of the nozzle after you release pressure from the gun (it expands some when exposed to air). Smaller tubes don't do this as bad as the larger tubes. Also found this glue should not be used for shear applications, creeps over time, nails are the best solution for shear applications.

The quart size was barely more than the 10oz and just kept on going, had more than enough for the project and that stuff isn't coming apart!

Like many others mentioned the glue keeps coming out of the tube after you release the trigger, dripping everywhere and even if you remove the container from the gun it will not stop, you will waste more glue than use, unless you need to squeeze the whole thing in one shot.

I used this to patch some bubbles in a foam roof. I really wanted polyurethane caulking, but this is all I could find. It worked alright, took a little long to dry but did the job. It will work to patch smaller bubbles, the larger ones you need to use a foam product. The cans of spray foam don't work well because it is hard to control the thickness.

I have used this product many times. It does what it is advertised to do. The only draw-back or problem is the product continues to dispense after release of the caulking gun trigger. I stopped the dispensing several inches short and let the leak-out continue. I would then remove the tube from the caulking gun and set it upright on the ground. It would continue to dispense up to several ounces. Placing a b-cap and/ or taping the tip did not work either. They would be pushed off and product would continue to dispense. Keeping the product in the shade and /or using it fresh from an air conditioned environment did not help. An obvious waste and very annoying to say the least. I thought that it was an anomaly limited to the first tube but continued with every tube. This seems to be something new as I have used cases of PL products in the past and do not recall this behavior with prior usage. I'm sorry that I did not take photos.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JamesT Good adhesive but be prepared
Overall this is a great adhesive. It doesn't bond quickly so be prepared to support or secure whatever you are gluing. I've also found that it cures quicker if you most it with water before you stick the pieces together as the water helps the curing. The other part to be prepared for is the adhesive will keep coming out of the tube even after its released for awhile so plan ahead for that. Once it dries though it is very strong and will stick to about anything.

we use this product to fasten caps to retaining wall and steps. If it needs repair we have to use a chisel to get the pieces apart and even then the concrete gives way before the glue.
