Very reasonably priced ...especially when compared with the consumer-sized tubes. Product delivers as advertised and 'holds' fast once applied. I used to secure hardwood flooring at the start and end of each room. Once applied I had ample time to position the flooring; but be aware that if you have very close measurement tolerances you may need tools (bar/hammer) to get a snug fit for tongue and groove flooring. But this product WORKS, and holds securely once in place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great adhesive I used this adhesive to install retrotreads on my stairs. My daughter and I did the job, never having done it before, nor using adhesive before. We used the XL sized tube. I wish the applicator was available in a woman's hand size. It was so difficult to squeeze out the adhesive. It stuck very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Adhesive for Bamboo Tried this stuff as an alternative to the Roberts polyurethane adhesive in the 4 gal cans, which are messy, unsealable, wasteful and overpriced. This stuff applies with an oversized caulk gun and holds great. Use sparingly on concrete slab so it doues not expand when it cures, and especially keep out of the tongue and groove or it will push the solid bamboo slightly apart. Completed my 450 sq ft lanai with 11 cartridges, less than half the cost of the Roberts stuff

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gets the job done! First the good: This product does what it is supposed to do. I am a landscape contractor and have used it with success on exterior projects to glue down caps for retaining walls. I also use it in many projects, as I also have residential construction experience (remodeling, flooring. etc) It bonds well to block, concrete and wood. I recently used it to glue my engineered wood to my concrete floor in the doorways and it holds VERY well. As far as doing what you want it can not beat it. Now the bad: Although a great product it does have some things that could be corrected, although minimal. First off, the glue will continue to exit the tube once used even after you put a nail in the tip to hold it will even push out the nail. I usually put the tube into a box or bucket nozzle facing down to hold the nail in. You will probably lose 5% to 10% of the product from the tube, especially on warmer days when the tube heats up. The glue is very sticky if you make a mess when you work, so just keep your work clean. secondly: I have bought alot of these things and I did recently receive one tube that would not allow me to squeeze the trigger on the caulking gun; this was after piercing the foil barrier and trying 3 different guns, I guess some of the glue hardened inside or the tube itself was defected. I think this was just a fluke tube though. Overall, if you can put up with losing a little of your adhesive, there is no better product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unbearably difficult to apply I am finally totally fed up with this product and will tell our lumber salesman not to send it out in the future. It just doesn't come out of the tube. I've been frustrated by this for a long while now--I've gone through cases of the stuff--but, now I'm done. Clasping the trigger of the caulk gun and it's handle I'm able with both hands to eek out a trickle of glue. Yes--I've thoroughly punctured the seal and I'm working with a 3/8 diameter opening on the tip. The tube is at room temperature and hasn't been stored in the cold. All you get is a trickle. And what's worse, is that having to apply so much pressure means that you can't stop the flow when youre ready. You pull back the plunger, but nonetheless, when you return to the gun two minutes later a giant mess of goop has been expelled from the tube. Please, fix this product or stop selling it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Glue Ever I had a family friend help me remodel a bathroom, and we used a ton of this PL Glue, he kept ranting and raving about how great it was. So for the last 6 months I've been using it a lot on all of my home repairs and custom build pieces of furniture or any wood structure. This stuff is hard as a rock when it dries, it's consistency is just right, not too runny and not too thick. I use it on nearly everything I build now, and it is an awesome product, one tube goes a long way too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best construction adhesive ever. I first saw this product while watching episodes of Holmes on Homes. He swears by I so I decided to try it myself. Absolutely unbelievable stuff. Don't apply this to anything you may want to take apart later. Use this with screws while laying a subfloor and you will have no annoying squeaks at all. Glue a couple 2x's together and fasten with a couple screws. Wait 24hrs, take the screws out and try to pull the 2x's apart. You will destroy the wood before the glue lets go. Buy it you won't regret it.
