Caulking flows easily and is easy to work with. There is some shrinking with large gaps around 1/2", but this is fairly consistent with most paint-able caulks.
The caulking dries fairly quickly. At an ambient temperature of 60 degrees, it was ready to paint in about 3/4 of an hour. It would dry quicker in warmer weather.
Water-based formula allows easy cleanup of tools and hands.
This caulking carries a 50 year guarantee which is far better than similar types of caulking.
Now that I've used this brand, I don't see using any other for future projects.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0Â by Capecodder Easy To Apply And Dries Quickly
I just used this caulking on my bathroom that I just remodeled. I applied this caulking where the tub meets the floor, around the tub surround, and on the bathroom window. This caulking was very easy to apply and easy to wipe up with a damp paper towel. This caulking dries within 20 minutes so you don't have to wait a long period of time if you need to paint over it. I would definitely recommend this caulking.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0Â by DIYinOH Mixed feelings, would probably use again
I'm a landlord - and recently had to replace a window over the holiday. I really didn't want to return the next day for paint, so I was trying to get the job done in one day.
I used this instead of standard caulk because of the shorter dry time. It's definitely paint-ready within 30 minutes, I let it dry while I shopvacc'd the sawdust and carried out the trash... it was ready when I returned.
However, the short dry time makes it very difficult to cleanup if you get any on the wall... and I almost ran out of working time just running the bead around a 48x11 window. I think I can avoid the working time issue by working in short sections next time instead of the whole window. The cleanup is still an issue, by the time you finish a section it's already setting in.
Another issue I had was that the tube gushed caulk even when my finger was off the trigger and pressure was released on the gun. There was definitely a chemical reaction happening in the tube that caused the caulk to ooze out. Make sure you have PLENTY of towels around to set the tube on or you'll have a big mess to clean.
That said, being able to get the whole project (remove, install, trim, caulk, paint) in one afternoon far outways the downsides. I'll give it 3.5 stars and round up to 4.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0Â by Whit Best Caulk I have ever used, and I have used pretty much all of them.
This caulk is probably the best caulk I have aver used and here's why. The 100 pct silicone caulks are great, but most of them you cant paint. The butyls are also great caulks and many you can paint over, but their cost are double over this caulk. The outstanding qualities I like about this caulk is the quick set up time and drying time while at the same time there is never any "pull away" or separation from the material being caulked , such as trim, clapboards where as a lot of caulks tend to do that over time, crack, pull away, causing air leaks or water penetration. This caulk stays flexible and definitely sticks to what ever you put it on. I did a test and after it was a on a trim piece a couple days and there was no shrinkage, no pull away or separation. So I tried to remove it and it was a bear and not easy to remove. It absolutely seals, stays flexible, almost rubbery, during temperature swings. This is a water based caulk and cleanup is with warm water and or dish soap I use, very convenient This product offered at Home Depot for less than $3.00 a tube. I've used it for everything, not just painting and have used it inside as well as outside. Try it...you won't be sorry.....Tom W.

Application is easy (tube has a specially shaped nozzle to help you apply it accurately). Dries quickly enough and paints well. Cleanup is easier than with latex paint.
