Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great idea OK construction Overall I'm pretty happy with the purchase. I bought two of these as gifts. I find it annoying that they don't come assembled. With the basic pine finish and having to assemble I feel like I would have been better making them on my own from scratch. The pieces don't line up perfectly and they have holes drilled in the plexiglass to screw to the back of the birdhouse yet there are no screw holes in the wood. It's pine so you can easily screw it in manually but you have to be careful not to split the wood. Not sure I would recommend. June 5, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by kit.......not advertised as such Not happily surprised to find this was a kit. For the price, I would have expected it to be assembled. December 16, 2013
