Hello
For this model, the camera can either be in full screen mode, or you can put the monitor to quad to show multiple camera views at one time. For 2 cameras, in a quad view, the top two squares would have images, and the bottom two squares would be blanks.

Hello,
The unit can be used for viewing only, and does not require recording. You can remove the SD card from the monitor, and recording would be disabled (also can be disabled from the menu).

Answer:
Hello,
This unit uses Skype for remote connectivity. To view remotely, you would connect the monitor to your PC with a USB cable, and run Skype on your PC and on your phone to make the remote connection. Once connected, you can view CAM1 remotely.

LIVE SD7+ 4 CH Wireless Indoor/Outdoor Video Monitoring System with 7 in. LCD Monitor and (2) 480TVL Wireless Cameras is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to Install We just finally got these up after buying them about 6 months ago. We are testing the system and just started night recording to see if we can catch some rodents on video that we know are outside our house. So far it seems to work pretty good, you can actually see what's going on outside when it's pitch black. Curious to see how well the motion detection works and will report back with an update. The only complaint I have so far is that it doesn't seem you can totally mute the camera's microphones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product, works well, does almost too much The security system is fairly simple to set up. The instructions are very good. I was pleasantly surprised at some of the capabilities for the price. The monitor has a very clear picture. The camera has a very flexible mount. It came with two cameras and I will probably add two more to the system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Afforable Video Monitoring System Just purchased this Lorex Model LW2732 from Home Depot and it is the easiest thing to install. The range and of the wireless is incredible and no interference. Quality of picture is excellent. I am going to purchase 2 additional cameras to make this a complete system. If your looking for an Affordable and easy to install system this is the one to buy. The kit comes with a 2 GB card but recommend going to a computer store and purchasing the 32GB card for longer hours of recording. The difference is you only get hours with the 2 GB but with the 32 GB you get days.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice system Very nice system, had it up and running within a few minutes, works great through metal walls of mobile homes unlike others I have tried. I have already bought 2 extra cameras and expanded the system. All features are easy to access and adjust

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works and is simple to use but not the best out there. Kinda limited since it only can record just under 2 days on a 32GB card but it does work with Skype and I used a capture program on my PC and now I can record for weeks while out of town. I would not recommend this unit if your going to use it for long term usage get a Qsee DVR for a $100 more.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Limited Remote Viewing Capability Having used the Logitech Surveillance system for many years for both my businesses and my home, I have some experience with surveillance video set ups. My son was able to set this system up, so that tells you that the hardware is pretty good. If you're going to stop there, it's not a bad system. The video quality is not great but that's not a show-stopper. The audio quality is mediocre but that's okay too. But if you are intending to rely on remote viewing, this system has a limitation. They have piggy-backed this capability on Skype, and this limits your viewing to only ONE camera. If you wish to view a different camera, somebody at the other end (where the set up is) has to push a button to switch you. Now that is ....LAME. Please tell me I'm wrong and that there is something I am overlooking!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It! I really love this product! The only adjustment I would make would be setting a volume on the speaker of the camera, it is super loud in the room you are speaking to!
