Can your LED string lights be connected in series?

I would like to install 4 sets of string lights within the upper framing of a 10' X 13' gazebo. Can I connect the 4 strands together, in series, with a single connection to the 14 gauge wire, or must I connect each strand to the 14 gauge wire which in turn is connected to the transformer?

Thank You

Bob

Answer:
You could try to splice these together to make a continuous line -but that could void the warranty. But just as is, these do not have a way to daisy chain together, and each comes with clips to plug into the LV cable.

These string lights are intended for use with a low voltage power pack, or transformer. The total wattage of the 4 strings has to be supplied, but that wattage figure seems to be unavailable at this time.
LED lights are very low wattage, so it would be safest to run the 4 strings of 10 lights on a 200 watt transformer. That wattage might be overkill, but it would be safest to exceed the watts required, rather than overloading the power supply.
You can run the 14-gauge power wire from the transformer up and around the gazebo, connecting the 4 strands to that wire individually.
Thank you for asking,

In your first answer you said that from first light to last light is 11 feet but that total length is 22 feet. How can that be?

The math does not seem to come out right. If I have an U-shaped area 20 x 20 x 20 (left side 20 ft x right side 20 ft x bottom of the U-side is 20 feet. How many strings do I need?

Answer:
The issue is that there is a distance from the power supply box to the first light so the lights can be hung up off the ground if desired. Each light has 0.5m between them but there is 3m to the first light. The lighted length is less than 15 feet. So, at least four string light sets would be required to light a 60ft perimeter area.
Thank You
