Customer Reviews

Rated 3.2 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by cheap Ax head came off after 30 mins of use, head is held on with a glue similar to, "gorilla glue". Very disappointed with ludell. December 11, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by What I was looking for This is what I was looking for. This is a solid axe with a wooden handle. The fiberglass handles just don't hold up compared to hickory. The axe is dull when you get it, but it can be sharpened rather quickly. It has a nice heft as well. September 1, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst axe I have ever seen This is the worst axe I have ever put my hands on. I have had said axe for 3 months and the head just broke off. The first day I got it I went to cut a tree like you do and the head came lose after removing all the epoxy and putting in a proper wedge it still broke at the base of head I would not get another if you payed me too May 22, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice axe, but... I would recommend this product, but would also recommend you have an adequate means of sharpening it when it arrives. Mine was very dull on one side and somewhat sharp on a portion of the other side. It certainly wasn't ready to use out of the box. When I ordered this axe, I also ordered a handheld sharpener, but the axe blade is so thick at the edge that it cracked the sharpener. October 28, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I like that it's two sided I have a lot of trees around the house and this axe is perfect for trimming the roots around them. April 1, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product This product seems well-built and sturdy. It is light enough that it makes it easy to use, but it is also heavy enough to make splitting effortless. December 24, 2013
