Customer Reviews

3.5 lb. Single Bit Michigan Axe with 36 in. American Hickory Handle is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Handle split in one day We bought this axe earlier today to cut wood, and it's already trashed. The entire handle Split and is now almost unusable. May be understandable in buying a $30 axe, but not when description says specifically that it can be used for chopping wood. Very disappointed!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be better The handle is good, The head is good. The problem is the head will not stay seated on the handle. It appears the epoxy used did not fill the entire voids in the mounting hole. The handle was not firmly seated in hole before filling with epoxy or whatever they use. Head keeps trying to come off handle.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst axe I have ever seen This is the worst axe I have ever put my hands on. I have had said axe for 3 months and the head just broke off. The first day I got it I went to cut a tree like you do and the head came lose after removing all the epoxy and putting in a proper wedge it still broke at the base of head I would not get another if you payed me too
