RE: Model # TT-300H-WH Internet # 100001525

I have a touch lamp that I have to plug in to work; touch lamp feature stopped working. Will this dimmer actually turn off totally so I do not have to bend down to unplug touch lamp that is not working correctly?

Answer:
It has a slider switch. which takes it to the off mode. For $12.00 its worth a try. Or for the $12.00 put it towards a new lamp....just sayn. The cord with the slider is about 3 foot away from the plug in so you can place it on the table or couch without having to bend over to unplug it.

Answer:
There is no separate switch. However, the lowest setting for the dimmer is "off," and the "off" position has a click to it like a switch. For all practical purposes, the answer to your question is "yes." You can and should use this to turn on and off the lamp.

I would think so. Be certain that your Christmas tree lights can be dimmed. Some LED bulbs cannot be dimmed. The power strip might interfere with the ability to dim. Would be better if this were between the power strip and the bulb instead of plugging in a power strip to this.

This will not have a problem dimming Christmas tree lights as long as they are standard incandescent or halogen. It is not rated for LED string lights. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Plug in Dimmer I am a total ambiance junky. I LOVE this inline dimmer I use them on my outside pergola lights to dim the lights in the summer. In the winter I use them on my Christmas trees. I prefer the quieter gentle light that these dimmers provide. I have gifted these to my family for Christmas trees. When you dim clear lights they go from a Bright White to almost a Champagne color. Totally Awesome!. June 30, 2016

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mildly disappointed! I felt it should have been stated that this dimmer would not work with the florescent lamp ordered with it! May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I really like it I really like this lamp dimmer and I discovered it works well with LED bulbs too. It's nice to use this dimmer for lamps with hard to turn switches because you don't have to use the lamp switch anymore once you set the dimmer up. The dimmer has a switch that's easy to move, so it's not hard on your hands and you can locate the switch where you want it to be. It's nice to be able to control how much light you have in your room. April 26, 2016
