I installed this dimmer after installing 2 new 11 watt LED recessed lights. The lights used to be insanely bright. Installation was simple, just basic electrical skills. Initially the lights did not dim more than 50%, however I read the instruction sheet and this dimmer has an adjustment screw. I can now dim the bulbs down to 10%. The LED bulbs say for best performance, turn on to full brightness, then dim down to desired level. If I turn them on at a dim level, they flicker once and go normal. The lights and dimmer are completely silent no matter the brightness level. I'm very happy with my new lights and the dimmer.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by SWong Pretty decent wall dimmer/switch.... easy to install and works perfectly with dimmable LED bulbs
I have nothing but raves and accolades for this dimmer switch and the exterior plate doesn't show the unsightly plate mounting screws typical of all the other wall light switches. What makes this especially nice is the fact it will work with almost all bulbs including the inefficient incandescent light bulbs but also dimmable CFL's and LED bulbs. Just a slight tap on the paddle switch will either turn on or off the room lighting. I've got this dimmer working harmoniously with the Phillips 60 WATT LED dimmable bulbs and all things considered I'm now getting the cost savings that come with the new LED lighting but more importantly just as much light output similar to what I got from energy wasting incandescent bulbs..

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Troy43 Exactly what the doctor ordered
I wanted to switch to LED lighting in my family room. I replaced 6 incandescent bulbs with 6 LED bulbs. Knew nothing about the dimmer switch requirement. The last two LED bulbs flickered every time I dimmed the lights. I also could not lower the intensity of the lights as low as I could with incandescent bulbs. Educated myself on YouTube about the dimmer switch requirement. Used this product to finish my project. Not only did it fix my flickering issue, it made the lights brighter on full and very dim on low. I could not be more satisfied with the entire project. Oh, I replaced the switch myself with no difficulty. Life is good.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RSB Well designed.
At a glance this switch looks like any other except there is a small slider on one side to adjust the dimmer. So far it works well with LED lightbulbs.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mark Nice switch
I have bought about 6 of these switches over the last 3 years for different locations in my house. I have to be honest, the pricing is getting a little out of hand. I will look for my next one on line first. The first one I bought was in the range of $8-9.00, then I got a couple more about a year later at $14 and some change, now they are over $20.

Switch works as advertised. The ability to change/adjust the range of the dimming is a nice feature.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by hdtvguy Nice concept for a dimmer that looks like regular switch, but falls short in execution
Wanted a dimmer that would look good in a double gang box next to a normal decora switch. This fit the bill, although a tad expensive. Was easy to install, but the switch operation feels flimsy and cheap. Also if you leave the dimmer slider to the lowest position and turn the light on it does not turn on, you have to slide the slider up a little and then it flashes to full brightness and then goes dim. This is annoying when trying not to wake someone else in the bedroom up. I suspect I will be searching for a different alternative soon and ditch his rather pricey dimmer.
