Rated 1 out of 5Â by MadDog Dimmer switch blinks off and on if left on more than an hour
Used switch on chandelier that had 25 3.5 watt Phillips LED candelabra bulbs. Total of 87.5 watts. Switch is rated at 150 watts for LED use. After being left on for more than an hour, lights flicker on and off. Lutron said I used a bulb that they had not certified, Phillips said it was the cold sodder separating as the switch got warmer and probably a rare manufacturing flaw. Another switch should work. I bought another new DIVA switch and the same thing happened. I gave up and put in a simple $3 single pole switch and run the light on or off, works without a problem just no dimming.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Wheels64 Another perfect solution to a worn out 3 way light switch in my bathroom
I had a 3 way switch that was not always functioning properly and blowing the circuit breaker, so I decided to replace it with a dimmer switch in a similar style. With 3 overhead lights, the bathroom was sometimes too bright so this 3 way dimmer is the perfect solution. The existing wires were not marked so well, so it took me 2 times to get the three wires to their proper placement, but now it works great.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by macko The dimmer thats not
Dimmer range extremely small - very bright to slightly less very bright, and not adjustable - with four 15 watt Phillips PAR38 LED bulbs. The four can lights had a distinctly audible hum, enough to be disturbing to me a 35 year woodworker with poor hearing. Tried two of these same switches with same result. Cooper brand "Decora" style dimmer had no noise and dimmer range is adjustable down to point of the lights being out.

This dimmer unlike others does not operate as a three way switch.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Edward Does the job just right
I didn't do the simple installation but since I carefully chose this item it went in easily and was hooked up as easily in about 10 minutes.
And it dims the three over head 'tophats' perfectly.
This item is specific and is to be used with CFL bulbs only ... that is why it's a little more expensive
than the one for regular bulbs.
