can i use one sensor for different rooms

ur telling that it will capable of 250watts, with one sensor i can connect to three different rooms like hall, bedroom and bathroom. can i connect to fan and light in my bedroom? if i dont need the usage of fan or light at that time what to do how we can off it.
Asked by: srikanth
The sensor replaces the wall switch for the lights/fans that you want it to operate. It has several modes for different uses. 1) On when you enter room off when you leave 2) Manual on auto off when you leave the room 3) Daylight sensing If you want to operate the devices separately you can do so by manually turning a fan off by the fans pull chains, however if you turn it off the switch will not turn it on till you manually turn it on. as for more than one room all the rooms would need to be on the single switch, I am going to guess your home is not wired this way so you would need a switch for each room.

This is a great little switch -- works exactly as expected for occupancy mode (have not tested other modes). I'm using it in a home office, and normal movement while sitting in a chair using a computer seems to be enough. I didn't change the factory defaults (5-minute timeout) and so far have only had it shut off once while still in the room. When it turned off, all I had to do is lean in my chair a bit, and it turned on again right away. I'm very happy with the turn-on speed and sensitivity of the motion detection, however I think this should be packaged with the snap-on wall plate. If I could deduct half a point for that I would, but the product is excellent.

No single hiccup for all that time. It operates 4xT4 fluorescent lights. No issue with powering up the lights or with the light ballast. Very good quality. I love the programmable features on it and the auto-learning of your light preference. Very versatile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install. Extremely convenient. I purchased this light switch for our laundry room because the light was constantly being left on. This switch solved that problem immediately. Not only does the light in the laundry room come on automatically now when you walk in, but it automatically turns itself off after 1 minute, which is even better. No more wasted electricity!! The switch settings are also easy to adjust ... you just have to follow the included instructions and press the right buttons and pay attention to the flashing lights that indicate which setting is in effect.

It only covers if from the wall, you only have two black wire and ground wire. However, nowadays, it is not uncommon to have two black wire, one red wire and one ground wire. To the people not that handy, it would be very confusing. In case you have the same wires layouts, here's the instruction: 1. If you facing the switch , with copper head part up, there are two black wire from the switch. Upper one and lower one. Make sure you clear about that. 2. Connect the lower black wire from switch, and two black wires from the wall together. 3. Connect the upper black wire from switch, and red wire from the wall together. 3. Connect green wire from switch with group wire from switch, and the ground wire from the wall together. As you can see, they are totally different from the guide. That's why I gave it four stars.
